Set up my **********. everything loads great. As soon as load the epg channel guide my firestick crashes. I know it's a RAM thing but doing a little research I heard there's a fix somewhere. Anyone know? Or do I have to go and get a firetv box now for more ram.

try the 24 hr guide(nfps version)
NFPSF2 kodi 15 non nfps version 0.8.4
NFPSF1 kodi 16 non nfps version 1.0.1,1.0.3
also delete epg_xmltv.xml from userdata/addondata/pvr.stalker folder if it exists.

you have the 24 and 72hr epg option? then change it to 24...leave it there for low memory device.
stop kodi
delete epg_xmltv.xml from userdata/addondata/pvr.stalker
delete any files that start with tv or epg with the .db file extension from userdata/database folder.exp tv29.db,epg,db,epg10,db,ect.
start kodi

Should I delete all the bullshit apps that come on the firestick. Will that help as well?

fire stick is low ram... i suggest installing firestarter and seting it to launch kodi on boot and on home press.. (firestarter on double press)... then go sign out of your amazon account on your device and reboot.. that freees up some ram

I already have firestarter. I will try the loging out. What about deleting the shit apps it comes with. If I log out will that shit not load?

delete all you can.... and yeah disconenct your ammazon account,, when running my clairvoyance build, and the 72 hopur epg i still have about 160 megs of free ram in kodi on a fire tv stick.

im keen on mimic or arctic zephyr, yes both are minimalistic and have low resource usage.. mimic is a bit lower than arctic.
