Agree with you but guyz behind server ain't no joke. So no worries, they know what they have been doing. And they know what to do. So have full faith on them and by time they server is ready they will have more stuff for you, for now just enjoy, I'm lovin it. Kof

First a huge thanks to you guys, got that all working a few days ago.
The TSN1-5 havent been working for a while now, and the Adult channels almost all dont work.
But even those would work, there is a lot of freezing which doesnt occur on other channels.
Just to mention.. :) if possible german pay tv channels would be cool.

And when the test is over, what are prices for the service as I want to continue using it?

TSN channels don't work with the Stalker PVR client for Kodi. It's a known bug, but they work on the STB Emu, and boxes.

Do TSN and all porn channels showing up and work on the AVOV's like the MAG254's, or are they like the kodi emulator i.e. have a smaller channel count or not come in?

apparently more than 1-4 are down! most of these us channels are down for me. sky channels are up.but,i have tried 1-4/espn/tnt/tbs and get same results: no video or audio.
TSN is playing very well. i haven't tried all the other channels starting at 1,but seen enough channels black to reply to this thread. keep in mind this is just a reply and not a complaint as i am thankful for all that we do have

One does not generally influence the other.
Servers at both ends may have been adjusted thou, entirely possible when all hell breaks loose :)
There is also work being done with the aVoV as we speak (saw it reported by aVoV guys), so them aVoVs may see different sorta stuff goings on, then other receivers.

I made a nearly identical comment a few weeks back when both services went black on US channels at the same time during a ECM. I was told then that IKS and IPTV are totally different. I am not drawing any conclusions, just making observations.

Well, the IKS situation thing is not really an ECM: many channels are up in the Spanish section and some of the English are up in the 300's. ECM designation is from the "old" days of testing. Also many of the IPTV channels are still up, but just not the ones we commonly view.

Yes it is an ECM on IKS and it is confirmed by NFPS, and now some channels are back on 119, as far as APTV it looks there is an update to the server with more channels coming in, now 470.

Maybe it's about what they consider "working" compared to what you consider "working". For some people "working" means 30 minutes watching a channel with no buffering at all.

Since they reappeared this week, the audio bitrate is a lot lower and picture quality is much worse. If you consider the current video and audio on the NY locals good, your standards are very low.

There is a way to check video and audio bitrates, bps on the internet stream. The channels he is referring to, as well as the Miami channels have gotten quite a bit lower rates in the last few weeks and the picture on these channels now look 'chalky' because of loss of detail and contrast. I think to make up for detail/contrast loss, they also seem to have raised brightness a bit, washing out the images.

If you have an internet bandwidth pipe, loweering bitrates is a way to get more channels at the expense of quality.

I have 300mps internet. 3 Mags at 3 different locations and all are EXACTLY the same on the New York locals. All other channels look good on all 3 Mags, but the NY locals definitely have bad quality. I have no idea what it looks like on your TV, but I can tell you what it loos like on mine...crappy. And just for the record...the NY locals are now down. Or are you going to tell me they are up at your end. Let's see what happens when they come back up.

The NY locals were up when I posted did a comparison check with the Rocket IKS and the IPTV was a bit better but think not as good as when I first posted, resolution does change on some channels at times, also did a check on CNN HD with a DLT5 and mag254 and avov on CNN on fairly new 70" TV could not see any difference, just threw that one in for good measure

p.s.do not normaly watch the locals so do not know how they have been recently.

Server Up or Down does not seem to be an issue 98 % of the time.

The issues seem to be ..
-Channels not working, or lost.
-Channels with poor quality or great quality too.

What we will do is get a Sticky thread posted up with that as the Topic.
There will be some rules.
Starting with ..
Do not assume things about what others have said.
Any of that happens and the post that will be deleted and any pertaining posts concerning that also deleted.
No questions, just deleted.
Tell us what the quality is like, or which channels that seem to have gone a-wall....but do not judge or assume or bring forth negative opinions on the matter. You can give opinions about displeasure and etc...but that can be said without being rude !

This will not be a 'channel request' thread.
If the channel has never been added, then asking for that channel is a request and not allowed in this thread.
We will be talking about a separate channel request thread once the server decides which way to go with things.
