Hi, I'm Sean the new guy. I'm Irish and I live in Central France.
I'm here to learn how to get some use out of my Mag 254 box which has been lying idle for months. I also have a media PC hooked up to my TV running Kodi to view web sourced content but my knowledge of Kodi is pretty basic but I'm picking stuff up as I go.
Ideally I am looking for an affordable alternative to a paid satellite subscription. Irish TV channels are a must for me (RTÉ1/RTÉ2/TV3/TG4) as swmbo loves her Irish soaps etc. Freeview doesn't carry the Irish channels so that's not much help.
My immediate goal is to learn more about IPTV and Kodi without coming across as an absolute dullard.
