Why does picture freeze so often

I am trying to watch the football game. The channel keeps freezing about once a minute for 5-15 seconds at a time. I am able to monitor my internet connection and it is both clean and fast. Why does it keep freezing?

Well I did watch two soccer games ch.410 for about two hours without a single freeze plus no freeze on any other channel today, in fact hardly ever get a freeze.

Could be the added high demand on that particular channel if you are referring to the NFL game. There are also other things that could be the cause and they have been discussed many times in the past, a search would be your friend there.

I did have a bit of freezing last night. I unplugged router and modem for about 10 minutes when i turned all back on i had no freeze no longer.

Thank you for your reply. I just tried this but it didn't work for me. Trying to watch the bball game tonight on a different channel and it is non-stop freezing.

well on first things should change big time for freezing but for most part im good for what i watch
