This tutorial is based on previous experience with Username/Password Authentication on a MAG 254 / AVOV VIXO 1 / TVOnline+ units

For MAG units:

When your Username/Password Authentication is implemented I suggest rebooting your device.

If Rocket is your only Portal, your device will automatically boot into the Rocket Portal. If you have multiple portals select the Rocket portal, and it will load.

You will now see the Authentication Bar load up in the background, but you will now be prompted to enter your Username/Password (Donation #), once you enter that hit OK.

In some cases it will look like you have entered your Password incorrectly with a red "X".

This is ok, all you have to do it reset your MAG device at this point, and reload the portal. The Authentication Bar will pop up on the screen and will load like normal into the Rocket portal. You should only be prompted to enter your Username/Password (Donation #) once per MAC change or Authentication Probelms. If you are prompted for your Username/Password more than once it is likely you have entered the incorrect information.

A reboot is recommended after Authentication details have been entered in correctly.

AVOV units:

If you already have the Rocket server information in your device, go to the settings area where you enter all your Portal information to log into Rocket servers.

At this point all you will have to do is edit your current information and hit the "Use Credentials" field and this will give you access to enter your Username/Password (Donation #). Save your information and reboot your device. It should connect without issue at this point.

As for specific details on AVOV TVonline V2 / AVOV TVonline+ / AVOV VIXO 1 / AVOV VIXO 2 I would suggest looking in the AVOV section on the forums for further assistance. The above information is the general guide to adding Username/Password Authentication to those units.

Yes, Donation number = Username/Password.

For MAG it should only ask you once, if you choose to switch to PVR.Stalker, and back to your MAG it will likely ask you again for your username/password. Once per MAC change.

For AVOV you just add the username/password under "Use Credentials" and you should be good to go regardless of MAC changes.

There is a new version of PVR.Stalker 1.0.3 (version: 20160131) thats is released for Kodi
STB Emulator 0.7.10 has been released to accept username/password authentication.


When will this be implemented? I have yet to see it pop up on my MAG254 and I rebooted it a couple of minutes ago.

Like dara said Don't plan your day around it lol. It may only happen tomorrow, it could happen in the middle of the day. D-Day is here and it can happen at any moment.

All servers are currently under maintenance for the time being. I have not personally tested or seen an Avov 2, but it could be due to connection problems as of late so the request isn't working or saving. Have you saved your username/password under you server setting under "Use Credentials"?

yes, it happening to many members
As far as an announcement , we will just have to watch the forums and our own boxes to see how people are making out.
At this time the avovs here are doing the same as yours. The Mags are working better today but if they get disconnected then it is a hard climb to get them connected again too.

Keep an eye on the forums and what people are reporting :)

If you are getting an error, by trying to log in.. Please Reset your IPTV, this is done by inputting your order number and donation, and clicking "Reset IPTV", after that is done, try logging in again.

The issue people are having it seems is that they can't do an iptv reset at the moment, They get a bunch of errors... Same with Mac change and port change, error messages..

I've been having the same problems as people have been posting lately. (error on authorization login)

but doing the iptv reset, it lets iptv portal load once, but on next boot I get a screen saying 'Please contact your provider to register this device'. but mac has not changed. Any ideas?

I was just now talking to the admin

server itself is still up, just a little hard to stay connected at the moment.

Have had the same problem the load bar doesn't fill just sits.
Tried re-boot.
Reset the MAG.
Still the same?

Same here, tries to load but nothing happens :( I can't even sign into the Papio site or even check Donation Status, What is going on with t his service that is down so many times?

Very Frustrating that it is always down and always Maintenance issues.

1. Channels don't load or even log in when using correct Credentials

2. can't sign into to Papio site.

3. Can't Check Donation Status either.

4. No VOD as well :(

This bad service is leaving alot of bad taste in lots of users mouth's . I hope there is an end to these servers being down so much?

Besides all that, This is a very nice place to come to and get help when needed, Thanks Mod's for your Efforts :)

Has any one been able to get the password authentication to work with the MAG254? I've read through this tread and tried everything reset Mac, Reset IPTV, Hard and Soft booted Mag and used my donation number as the login and password. If the box isn't going to work I just need to know so I can chalk this up as a loss and return the box to amazon.

Error in log in and PW



I am now up after many days of trying to input the codes for login and PW. This afternoon I tried something different.
As I had done a reset on the donation code and Mac address which said it did the reset I decided to take a chance and renter the mac address. I did it and got message that the MAC addy was refreshed.
Then waited for around 5 minutes to plug in the MAG 254.

Let it boot up and the blue bar appeared but then asked for the login and PW input again. Inputted them and hit OK button on remote. This time no red error message.
Waited for a few and hit OK button again. This time it took and went to the blue bar but then yellow bar began to load up. May have to hit the OK more than twice??? I am now up and working watching western channel 342 !

For those of you that have done a re set of the IPTV you may want to try this procedure as it just might work????? Besides reports are that many boxes are coming back up.
Nothing to lose at this point.

Thinking your screwed as am I even if you bite the bullet and make a new donation (as I did) your mac is locked to the first donation cant reset it cant link it to your new donation because it says it's already in use.

Still getting "error" message, even after resetting iptv several times. Checking, re-checking, everything is as it should be and still no tv.... I have another donation with nfps that I have the same problem as midgard and have had no luck with getting info from papaio after two weeks of asking...really, really frustrating. Everything was fine for all three of my donations for so long until this security thing....a big mess and no help from anywhere...

I gave my donation on Feb/10. Got my Username/passw and it worked fine for about one week then I was disconnected and now I it asks my username/pass and gives me an error. Contacted papiao and whoever I have been told to contact and nobody answer.....

check the papiao website to ensure that your correct MAC addy is still linked.

My friend bought several donation last year to use for himself and a another friend. A few days ago he activated another 3 donations that worked OK for a few days. His satellite box is up and running fine, but today he was again asked for username and PW for one of his IPTV box's. He tried adding the new numbers, but both the new and old numbers no longer work.

Any suggestions other than contacting Papiao?

Nope. The IPTV Stalker kodi add on was working fine until they disabled it. I have a valid donation. 260 days left. Not that I can use them, though!

Reset IPTV should have fixed the problem. I can try the master reset I have here and might work.
But you would have to answer the message I have sent to you.
But what about your user name and password, are you using the 12 digit donation code for both the Username and Password ?

yea, you had sent me the Ordrer number but left out a few digits. The second one you sent was correct.
Everything checks out and MAC is linked. I reset the IPTV a couple times too, maybe that will help

Okay I see the problem.
I did ask you this in one of them messages.
You have the wrong MAC address assigned.
The one you have is a pvr stalker client prefix
00:1A:78

For the Mag receiver, you would use the Mags MAC addy and it will have the prefix as shown below
00:1A:79



The Mag MAC should be on the bottom of the receiver or in the menu under System Info
Send me the correct MAC addy and I will get it linked for you.

I start to think that I have been "rip off". Never had this problem before. I have helped other friends with their boxes (around 5), and never had this issue before, I have sent about 4 emails and I do not get an answer I am told to go back to the forum. I donated this last time 105 US D, and only watched tv for one week.....

I have recently joined the sorry list of customers with great problems connecting.

1. MAG254 ver 0.2.18r-14-254

2. Successfully signed on with the new password authentication

3. Watched TV for a few weeks

4. About a week ago met with "Page loading error" check connection and page URL

5. Nothing wrong there as I have changed nothing

6. Checked my status at papiao immediately before this message and all is correct according to my account.

7. papiao shows an "IPTV reset" button. Anyone know what this does. I don't want to re-enter all my details if I can avoid it.

Help appreciated.

Althought I watched tv for a week, I was disconnected then I was given a new pass/user, the mac address was there, but for some reason there was not updated (linked?), today I was assisted by crazed 2.0,,,,,,I am watching TV thanks to supermoderator.....

I then waited approx 24 hrs with the box unplugged and have just gone through the same process again. Same result for the second time of trying your suggestion. In both tries papiao shows "IPTV Reset updated successfully"

Where to go from here?

Update.

Turns out this was a problem with my home network. I was getting ready to write again asking for help when I decided to first test my entire network. I run multiple computers and other devices. the MAG254 was the only device with problems which made me believe that the problem was elsewhere. However my debug determined that the problem was mine.

Your advice was sound tho' probably I didn't actually need it. Thanks again and sorry for wasting your time.

Hello,

I recently mailed my avov tvonline+ to AVOV help desk for repair, I was having issue manually resetting box because the box will get stuck on start screen. Today I received the box again so I started adding user/password from donation but the server is not connecting, so I check I had the MAC address correct. Can someone help me?

Sorry to butt in but it looks like other people are having the same problem. I contacted papiao they got back to me but still am having problems. I checked and made sure that I had a mac address and here is what I do to try and hook up. In my login box I put the 12 digit donation # in both boxes and hit ok, getting an error message each time. I then go unplug and plug back in and everytime it takes me back to the login screen, so is there something I am missing........thanks..........two-dogs

i am an idiot, it all works fine. I made a donation, and put in the details. First i was complaining about it not working, but turned out to be me not filling in the right info.

Im new at this and Im confused about the authentication, Forgive my ignorance.
Exactly what should I enter in Login and what is entered for password?
after I made payment I received an email with this info. On the bottom it has USERNAME and PASSWORD...Is it the same number for both Username and password?

I can't see why this could be confused... Yes, the same number is used for Login and Password. Login is the same as Username.

Well it confused me because that's what I understood and that's how I tried it and it doesnt work. I keep getting "ERROR"

My Mag was working. I had to reboot my router for internet issue
After this reboot, Istarted my mag and it asked me for user name & password
I am entering my user name & password but it is giving me error

We had a power outage earlier this morning. When I turned everything on a few minutes ago, it was asking for my username and password, which is my donation number. I also get, "error", and I have checked it multiple times.

I have made a donation and O have the conformation number. When I go to look for the rocket order the website will not find my order. Is there any other way to find my donation order?

I am having a problem since I made my donation six days ago....HELP....HELP. I've tried all possible solutions that I could find on the forum and nothing is working. I have a MAG 254 and received confirmation of the status of my donation when I renewed it. Entered the username and password received and I keep getting an error message. Also tried using the order number and resetting the IPTV. I don't know what else to do.
If someone finds a solution it would be great if they could post the exact procedure followed to make sure I do it right.
It seems that several people are having the same problem. Could it be an issue with IPTV Rocket?

I have same problem here...but I don't think is an issue with iptv rocket ..I got this using stb Emu from play store on all devices ....I have a android TV box, sonyAndroid TV and Samsung s7..
This is were I am..android TV is not working. It's said. AUTHENTICATION FAILED. Try same setting checked a lot of times Sony smart android TV is working and Samsung Galaxy s7 too.
Looking on pre-installed app my android box is unlocked can be
this why?

seems this is a problem for a lot of us, i have a box of a friend who i am trying to sort for him but i have the same login and password authentication error message.

I was having the same authentication errors on my android box with stbemu. I went into my settings for the emulator and made sure the device id was being sent. this corrected the issue after a reboot.

You should be checking in our Emulator sub forum area for some ansers.

When you boot to the Log In screen......IGNORE IT....use a mouse, go to the right hand corner and click until you see a Settings list pop up. Click on Settings and go to name, give the default name a new name, any will do. Then go down and click on portals and type in the http:// address.com that you were given in your email.
After you have configured that, check the mac address to make sure it is the right mac you have set at your iptv provider.
Exit all the way out to your main screen where you see the STB Emulator Icon. Click on it and it will take you to the Log In screen again. Now you put the 12 numbers for user and password and scroll down, click OK. The screen will go black ......do nothing.....wait and you should see things start to go your way.

Hi just signed up using a reseller account and from the email I received I did not see anything about a username or password which would be my donation number as was the case when I purchased a regular account. what would be the donation number used for the clients as a reseller? The MAG254 keeps asking for user name and password. I have done the reset of the MAC address, then reset the box and it still brings up this error

I myself bought a reseller account. And I am trying to setup one box. Nowhere in the Email did I see reference to a donation number. However when I purchase a one month subscription I had that which works fine btw. I'm just trying to setup an another box from the reseller account.

with the seller panel, they would have or should have sent a seperate password. Not the same as the donation number password.
It will also say to change your password first chance you get. If you do not see either of those two things in the email then something is in-correct.

Once you get that password you would use it to log into your reseller panel and then you assign the codes (the donation numbers).

I am pretty confused at where you are at with things.

The donation number is the 13 digit Route number (for iptv66)
You also mentioned that you checked and reset the MAC address. How can you do that without a Route number ?

Sorry bud but I am having a hard time understanding the issue here.
Can you log into your reseller panel ?
