Mine just quit it will load the guide but when I call on a channel
it is blank no pic no sound. The other portal works just fine.
I even switched mags and the same thing.
I had to change out my modem but it is picking up the mag
so I don't think that is it unless it is the service. I even took
another service and it acts the same way.

and this one won't I have tries it on a new mag
I don't know if it is the modem causing it or what.

The other portal is working fine when I swapped the service
the other service worked fine in this portal.

Have you tried unplugging the MAG254, then go to the donation page, changing your MAC address to something different than the one that your box actually is for a few minutes, then switching it back to the correct MAC address, and then powering up your MAG254?

All that I can come up with is that some how my modem is stopping
it but the guide is loading but that is all I get . When I change the mac
address it won't load change it to the correct one and it loads

it has no pic and sound just blank.

I had that problem and changed the HDMI cord to solve the problem and I am older than both of you!!
