What is Stalker? What is NFPS, IKS666, Rocket?

Hey guys, I'm having trouble understanding a few things.

So what is Stalker itself? Is Stalker simply some sort of framework for someone like NFPS to use and put their channels on or are stalker the ones providing these channels? then what's the point of these different servers?

do NFPS, IKS666, Rocket have their own servers and not something supplied by "Stalker"? therefore my experience with all of them will be different in terms of speed, quality, and channels available?

I tried to youtube/google these things, but all the results just came up with stuff about clones....

'Stalker' is server-side software/middleware, which acts as an interface between the streaming servers and users who use a 'client' like an emulator, box or Kodi add-on. 'Stalker' makes it easier to deliver the streams to the end users.

The supported 'servers' are essentially the same, with the exception of their portal urls. They are different in branding and business models, as well as supporting websites and staff. This site supports all three brands.
