IPTV talk exclusive!

Made a custom K0di Build. easy to install, easy to update and add advanced settings, not overloaded with plugins with and menu/plugins set that is customized for simplicity and ease of use.. with auto play and library integration set up perfectly.

How to install
1. Install a fresh copy of Kodi 16 and run it.
2. download the addon from http://********** and in kodi, go to system>addons>install from zip and find the file..
3. back out to the main menu and go to Programs and Run the plugin and choose instal from epg ninga, then "convert kodi to clairvoyance". Copying zip takes a while..
4. Once done it will close the window and you may get a skin error.. unplug your device and plug it back in.
5. It should be set to the arctic zephyr skin on its own, if it doesn't, go to system>appearances>skin>arctic zephyr.[/COLOR]

The sub menus all link to pages within SALTS,Genesis, or other plugins.. add shows to your library for quicker access to thing.. (press menu on show title, choose subscribe or add to library)

I recommend setting up a trakt.tv account or you cannot add subscriptions....
Also if you add the trakt.tv program plugin from the tknorris repo and login, it will automatically subscribe to shows you watch
Please keep chatter on this thread limited to the build itself.. ie, installation issues or suggestions or plugin wont open at all.. NOT if a plugin installs fine but you dont know how to use it or set it up or have issues with that pluginn.

I tried to install this on my Matricom G-Box Q (that I factory defaulted) running 16 beta 5.. it errored out the first few times during the install.. I can't remember where. I'll try it again tomorrow. I know that after I ran the installer a few times, it finally looked like it was finished installing, but it didn't have a bunch of the apps installed. I installed it on my android phone running 16 beta 4 on it just fine.

if u factory reset after you installed kodi q16 it would have reverted to 14 again most likely..

Yup.. I uninstall 14 and delete all the cache stuff, then do 16.. I'll do all that in a few.. it's resetting now.

im not sure what you mean.. where are you getting this 404 error? if your getting a 404 you have entered a URL wrong somewhere, but where? everything is preconfigured in my pack..

send a kodi debug log. (google it if you dont know how to make a kodi debug log)

So.. I brought my box into work today, and downloaded the latest nightly build (16 RC), and it worked perfectly. I'm not sure what was going on the other day. Everything is working perfectly for me.

@Psycon may I ask which weather addon is being referenced here? I'm using Weather Underground since the first install of XBMC years ago. I like that it is a bit more detailed in data it provides. It stopped working about a year ago but a fix was posted on kodi.tv and that's what I did to keep it working. Tks.

openweather map.... that plugin has been troubles lately,, there is a new openweathermap extended you should. switch to... just go to settings>weather>get more.

added a live TV addons update.. re configures your "live TV" section to include some alternative live tv sources.

Sportsdevil - all the live sports one could ask for
Halow TV - lots of free streams
CanTVLive - decent plugin for live Canadian networks

You will not see the live TV section if you do not have Rocket, NFPS, or IPTV66 enabled. you should really get an account on iptvprivateserver.is or iptvrocket.is, its much better than these flaky free addons. All the addons will still be available through the addon section however.

restart kodi after installing this update.

As this modifies the skin sometimes for it to install properly have to change to confluence before applying this update then switch back to mimic after..

kodi doesnt seem to like the redirect .. link has been changed to http://**********/clairvoyance.. you can add this right in kodi and install from there.

try installing the mimic skin and xbmc backup plugin fromm the kodi repo first as it has all of the same dependancies.

Did some cleanup.
Cut filesize of version 1 in half so install is much faster now.

also version 2 is available also... You Should switch to the arctic zephyr skin after install.

I have installed IPTV on Amazon FireTVs, Mag254s and other generic Android boxes without fail for quite some time... so I dont consider myself a newbie to this. I have spent alot of time trying to figure this out and read a lot on the forums but ultimately I have given up and hope someone here can help me.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Everything installed perfectly. Uninstalled Kodi 15 from my Amazon FireTV then Installed Kodi 16 from hxxp://**********/kodi.apk. Followed all the instructions. Installed Clairvoyance Version 2. Everything looks beautiful now, cant wait to play with this new skin. But for now my focus is the IPTV. It just refuses to stay enabled. This is what i did so far.

I configured Stalker Client NFPS

1. Chose IPTVRocket as Active Portal
2. Inserted the last 3 hex groups. The first hex groups was 00:1A:78 before i started, switched it to 00:1A:79 since i am not sure what Stalker Client NFPS requires since it only allows to enter the last 3 hex groups
3. Switched my Time Zone to what i usually use.
4. Entered my Donation number from papiao.is
5. XMLTV File is set to 24 Hours
6. Connection timeout was originally 5 seconds, put it to 20 seconds after it refused to work. (Probably makes no difference)

Go to Settings, PVR Service, Insert tick next to Enable at the top, it scans quickly then says No PVR add-on enabled.
I then browse back to my Stalker Client NFPS addon and its now disabled.

I am totally confused, since it seems like its working for everyone else. So clearly i messed up somewhere.

I hope i posted this in the right spot, really sorry if I didnt.

Hey there, did you try to change the MAC from 79 to 78? If you're using Kodi it has to be 00:1A:78:XX:xx:XX not 79, hope this helps.

Yes i only changed it to 00:1A:79 because it wasnt working.... tried many many many many many times using 00:1A:78. I switched it back to 00:1A:78 though... still actively trying to get it to work. I just tried using the normal Stalker Client version 1.0.3. Inserted all my information with 11.iptvrocket.tv as the Server Address and hxxp://11.iptvrocket.tv as well. After enabling it i go to PVR Service and enter tick next to Enable and it immediately says Stalker Client Failed to connect to server, but it doesnt disable like it was doing for the Stalker Client NFPS... i am so totally confused right now. I am actually on the verge of reseting the entire FireTV

Don't give up :) are you using Stalker addon or pvr client?

I am using PVR Client... everything is from the Clairvoyance pack. Nothing else was installed. Still disabling the Stalker Client NFPS automically after configuring and turn on PVR Services. So i will proceed to try the things you told me to try.

unsure why you are having issues. tiqz... i have no connection issues withe fire tv/stick..

put kodi in debug mode and pm me your log fille link form the log uploader plugin, should already be instlaled in v2 and has a subshortcut in settings menu.

Will test this on Kodi 17 nightly build, I was receiving the same error...
Noticed v2 on PC, skin would revert back to confluence on startup...
If having this problem, its a easy fix... you must do this step...

on windows devices you need to set the go to settings>skinsettings>extras and set the startup movie to the movie file in the home folder>userdata>addon_data>skin.mimic

Well this is getting better every second. I had another firetv laying around (the first version) which i decided to install everything how I was doing it before. Kodi 16, Clairvoyance pack. Added the **********/clairvoyance. Installed the script installer (took forever..lol) Once completed, changed to the new skin... i really really love this skin. OMG!!. Restarted. Went to my addons selected Stalker Client NFPS, entered info as normal selected Enable... and BAM!! it works just fine. Freezing alot.. like every few seconds, but i will definately figure that out. The biggest thing though is it worked.

So now to figure out why the first one didnt work. Its a FireTV 2nd Generation (the one with 4k), Everything on the FireTV side of things looks perfect. When I get to Kodi now is when i notice a very quick problem (which i believe may be the reason its not working). My network gateway is 20.0.20.1 and the IP my FireTV gets is 20.0.20.89, which is perfectly fine... now here is the shocker. When I open Kodi and go to System info my network gateway shows as 20.0.20.1 (which is still correct) but my IP shows as 192.168.49.1 (which is wrong). The other apps like genesis etc seems to work but Stalker Client immediately says cant connect to server the very second I select Enable.

On the FireTV 1st Generation that actually worked the IP on the Amazon side of things shows as 20.0.20.38 and when I open Kodi and go to System info the IP reflects the same IP... 20.0.20.38. So from my observations I have to assume what ever is causing my FireTV 4k to not show the correct IP in Kodi must also be whats causing my IPTV not to work.

Your fire tv stick is probably freezing due to hardware acellerator . go to settings >video>acceleration and disable the surface acellerator.

unsure abotu the fire tv gen 2.. i dont have on to test.. send me a debug log.

No fire stick here... Both are the regular size FireTVs... 1st Generation works... 2nd Generation dont. Will work on getting that debug log for you now. Once i figure out how to do it :)

for those having dependancy issues... check out the v2+ installer, it has the dependencies removed. it is meant for the version 2 package only.. you must manually switch to the arctic skin after installing a package.

Good evening, I cannot find the Arctic Zephyrr skin, so I chose the mimic skin. I put my info in NFPS Stalker Client but it keeps kicking it out after I set it up and takes me back to choosing a PVR manager even after setting it up. Please advise. (I am using the Fire TV, latest one.)

I have tried all 3 servers and 24 and 72 hour xml's . It is a fresh install of Kodi 16.0 RC1 with psycons Kodi pack and that's all. Service is improving but no fun without a guide.

installs are much quicker now.. i removed some redundant dependancies

as far as your pvr.stalker issue.... please post that in the pvr.stalker section of the forum if you cannot find an answer as to why its not wokring for tyou.. you can send me a kodi debug log, but i already know now that its just going to show that you have a typo, or didnt put in your donation number at all..

I finally got it to work and its pretty nice. I didn't like it on the Arctic Zephyr. But on Mimic its working flawlessly so far.

I installed Kodi 16 rc1. went well, I then installed clairvoyance , that when well.

The downloaded pvr.stalker.nfps-android-arm, installed that from zip in Kodi addons. no errors.

how do I add PVR stalker to launch it? I'm completely lost.. I found the plugins, added PVR, it download EPG, I also found the settings, entered my 3 HEX and Donation #...but how do I run in KODI? I see nothing under VIDEO...PLEASE HELP ME!!!

you have to set up the plugin with your credentials, and then you have to enable it, then enable live tv in settings > PVR service > General

well installed it on my android box mxV as per your instructions. initially i wasnt able to get my stalker working on it so i completely removed kodi and installed the jarvis rc1 and did the process over again. was getting the error msg regarding the device so i changed the mac and reinsterted the info and it worked for me afterwards....nice and simple build the kodi pack...if you can direct me on changing the time zone area i would greatly appreciate that...been searching the forums to see what i need to replace for east coast....many thanks for the hard work....i will try it on the rp2 and let you know how it goes....again thanks

Latest version should be 2.8.1, and is from that repo (xbmchub 1.0.6). Make sure you are looking at the TVADDONS.ag listings, but I also see Phoenix on the Superrepo as well.

Have a nividia shield with a clean install of jarvis r2. Download your installer and try running it and get a error at around 5X% when extracting. Downloaded mimc and xbmc backup with no luck. Any suggestions?

I am 90% sure its a path issue since kodi on nvidia sheild seems to have funky paths from my experience.

Seems like you fixed it since I was able to download it.
Uninstalled the old one and downloaded the new one and ran it and looks like the same error. Works fine on my computer kodi. Everything installed great, but not on nvidia shield.

Alright so I kept getting a failed to load guide error on the included stalker client, however it looks like other people on the board are not able to load guide right now either.

I have fixed the start up animation by messing with acceleration, thanks for the tip.

Yes home screen short cuts to movies and tv series is very helpful. Also, iStreams is amazing add on that never fails with IMDB lists able to be created. That and SALTS are pretty much all you need. Just set them on auto play and one click and play!

its different on every device.. you need to see what works best for you by trial and error... jsut change it and restart kodi.. the startup animation will play smoothly when you are at a good setting.. if not, you need a current box..

kodi doesnt like the import sometimes.. kodi may crash (which is ok, cause you need to restart anyways).. sometimes you need to go back and set the skin manually, sometime it sets itself.. that seems to be a kodi issue, not with the installer..

i may look into another installer going forward.. current one is jsut a dirty mod of kodis backup plugin..

There have been alot of suggestions out there in the forum, including some from phycon and none of them stay working for long withinany of the PVR's. It is ALL the different servers and that is the final word. Unless they are trying to say we are all dump, stupid can't read, type or follow an instructional video. They need to just come clean. Say how long it's going to take to correct their mistake. Which was cutting off what was working before have a viable replacement. Damn they made it sound so simple. User Name and Password. merged the version 2 and 2b update packages. cleaned a few install bugs. and tidied a couple things in the layout.. (dont bother reinstalling if your already on 2b, ill be making a seprate restore skin update)

I would love to. But apparently the official OPENELEC build is 6.0.1 which is using KODI 15.2. And that's what i currently have for my ODROID-U3. I have two options then, either try running your build on 15.2 with stalker 1.0.3 which according to you is the only one works well with EPG and all that

OR

try merging multiple sources and compiling an OPENELEC 6.95 or 7 for myself with KODI 16

The amount of work its going to take to merge sources and compile is a lot higher than just flashing current OpenELEC build on an SD card and run your script.

Based on the version difference, i might will have to modify the import versions of the required addons for the installer. I'll try tweaking it on my laptop so i can uninstall and install KODI back if needed

How do I change the skin playlist for movies, tv shows, etc. I wish to use PleXBMC for my movies. Was hoping I can have that showing as my background on the home screen above the tv shows and movies tab. Alright Psycon, Your ingenious build + the service addon for EPG works flawlessly on my OPENELEC 6.0.1 KODI 15.2. The only thing i had to change was instead of using the remote path to epg file in the builtin pvr.stalker 0.84 configuration i used the local path to the file otherwise i wasn't getting any EPG. Saw the same thing on Windows version of KODI 15.2.

Anyway.. the only thing i am missing now and most likely it has something to do with 15.2 since i didn't see the same on Windows version as compared to KOD 16 is the Movies and TV Shows menu including the widgets.

Is there a particular reason you think why both menus and widgets should be missing?

So i have found the issue. It's related to Kodi 15 not being able to import the libraries properly from Kodi 16 backup in your build. I am pretty sure its related to the library schema changes they brought in Kodi 16.

The way skin shortcuts are setup in the your build is it require something to be present in the library in order for it to show the menus. It's working fine on 16 because its able to import from the backup but not on 15.2 probably because of above.

The easiest way to fix it is to either add something in the movies or tv shows library manually or just export library from 16 build and import it on kodi 15.2. Once, the default (Limitless and The Martian) are added, the Trakt scrobbling will take over and start showing the content added on Trakt Lists.

ahh no, i was aware of this the kodi 16 version requires something be in the library as well. the included kodi 16 db files will not work with kodi 15 though so just go to addons>stream all the sources and add one show and one movie to your library

I thought there issue was against the people who are actually "Selling" stuff (addons/builds) with Kodi bundled. If you clearly announce in your video (a kind of a disclaimer) that you don't work with Kodi and that you don't support the addons, that you don't provide any service, you are just sharing a configuration. Will you still need to go for a hassle of creating a separate video with a logo etc.

The problem I see with stamping it with your name is the whiners are still going to comeback to you asking why isn't this work etc. even though you won't have any control over it

I am unable to download and open the ********** clairvoyance build. I am using an MX64, which I am not yet quite familiar with. When I click download on the repo file or the epg updater I get a message "can only download http. files." Yesterday I managed to download those files, but when I went to the local disk download and tried to open and install the file with package installer, I get the message "there is a problem with parsing the file".

I am new to kodi and android, so any help you can offer would be appreciated.

strange when you go to the download page TV guide for Kodi select download then select pvr stalker NFPS then you will see option Jarvis or Isengaurd make your selection, though I believe Jarvis 16 is strongly recommended the you see options,

I give up trying to get built in stalker client working with 15.2 build on origonal FTV. Get channels, but no guide. Here's the plan for tomorrow:

1. Clear data, and uninstal Kodi 15.2
2. Download your Kodi 16.2 will DLL fix and ADB Fire clean instal
3. Instal this build per OP
4. Does build come with stalker pvr.npfs client and ninja updater, or do I need to follow those threads?

Hey psycon. Quick question... The TV shows tab on the home screen is perfect. Works very well with Trakt... automatically syncs my tv shows i have selected on Trakt. The Movies tab is another story... i once got it to sync with the Movies on trakt but after removing Kodi and reinstalling I was never able to get that to work again. Another thing i notice with the movie tab is when I add movies to my library after a reboot of kodi it sometimes causes my movies to duplicate. Do you have any solutions i can try to perhaps fix the duplication issue.

I assume you are talking about the library it should sync did you check to make sure there is a folder created for the service you are using and its link there? I use SALTS library works great and so does trakt.

I know it definitely did work before using the Clairvoyance pack.. so thats why I am trying to figure it out again. Regarding the duplication of the movies though...I notice when ever I install the pack i get two copies of The Martian in the Movies library so you must have noticed it yourself.

Awesome... will be looking forward to it. I was playing around with Exodus the other night, I kinna like it. Seems to load my TV shows a lot faster than SALTS. Havent really played around with the pros and cons as yet. Perhaps you should replace genesis with it... since i did see somewhere that it wont be updated anymore and was replaced by Exodus.

added an update package for current users of the build so you can upgrade and keep your current database in tact.. go to settings >update/restore> install from epg ninja > upgrade to version 3... unplug your box when its done..

you will need to relink your trakt account to keep your subscriptions active

Trakt does link movies with Specto, Salts, and Exodus (Trakt collection not Trat Tv Shows) they'll be intergrated with your manually downloaded or added movies...

I saw you put the version as 2.2.8 but actually that version hasn't came out yet by jurialmonkey. We are still on 2.2.7

Something else to consider. I use the default widget PVR TV CHANNELS on my LIVE TV menu (I changed the main menu to STALKER>)....anyways if you go in to the skin (Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/addons/skin.arctic.zephyr) then click on SHORTCUTS then TEMPLATE.XML....on line items 136, 168, & 411 change those limits from "10" to whatever you want. I put "250" since I only activate 215 channels from the Pvr.stalker.

That way my widget now scrolls thru up to 250 items or in this case channels.

the version number is superficial,, its stock 2.2.7 with a modded startup screen and mouse (gotta redo that tho it didnt show up right), the version bump is merely to get the plugin to reinstall after launch so it rebuilds the dependancies porperly for your OS

I got "skin.arctic.zephyr" in the addons dir. I think i renamed the name of the GIT version to "skin.arctic.zephyr" when i copied it to the addon folder.
So that probably got overwritten :mad:

it could not have changed any settings, its the same skin, the only difference is the startup text and background image was replaced. had to do a version bump to trigger the skin to reinstall and rebuild properly.

Well ... my backgrounds were gone ( i made a folder "backgrounds" in the skin). The startup screen changed , Widgets were gone and the sources i added in file manager didn't work anymore. And changes i made to xml files are all gone . i kinda didn't expect your repo , which i use for the epg updater also updating the Artic skin
Is not a big deal , only thing is that i get my fam. on my back because of this (i installed there boxes) ;-)

removed that pesky tvaddons notification addon form the build, although some of the addons in my build are updated through their repo, this is not their build..

i am also working on a new addon to autodisable/enable broken scrapers for salts and exodus so autoplay works as quickly as possible at all times

this is something you need to set on your device.. play a channel then bring up the OSD,, choose video.. and set your stetch to 16:9.. then scroll to the bottom and set as default for all videos.

Hey Psycon... one quick issue. Salts...actually the clairvoyance account thats logged in. Its driving me crazy. I would click authorize and add my own account change settings etc etc. Shut down the app and all my settings are gone and clairvoyance is logged back in. I have tried everything. Sometime my account may be logged in for a few days and then without any warning clairvoyance account just logs back in by itself and adds back all the TV shows from that account that i removed already. Can you please create an installer that doesnt have the clairvoyance account logged in automatically to Salts. I would gladly donate.... thank you

it should not remain logged into the dummy account. that dummy account did not work as well as i hoped anyways i will remove it from the build

I've noticed this too. Workaround that seems to work is to change the settings in SALTS and then enable read only access on the settings file in the (%appdata%\Kodi\userdata\addon_data\plugin.video.s alts) folder.

Thanks for the change psycon... I installed the build on a new FireTV 2 i just purchased for someone and everything installed perfectly. Removed it from my own personal FireTV 2 and continued having the same exact problems (minus the dummy account logging in since its not there anymore) but keeps loggin out my trakt account and resetting any settings i changed in SALTS. So i decided to factory reset my entire FireTV and try from the beginning. Installed Kodi 16.1 and installed the new clairvoyance build and SALTS kept resetting everytime i closed the main Kodi app and open it again.

I experimented with it for a while trying to figure out whats happening, removing apps, stopping services. Anytime i do too much I would clear kodi data and start over so i can narrow my search to find the problem. Ultimately disabling the EPG Updater plugin solved my problem. I dont know why it was affecting my SALTS app only. When everything worked fine on the other FireTV 2 i installed before. So... that was my solution guys. No idea beyond that.

You can get the service with Kodi's built in PVR Stalker client or the IPTV Stalker Plus video add-on. (Their instructions are in the respective stickies.) The EPG is working. Check threads in this, the Kodi > EPG area, for ways to configure your add-on to receive it.

Lot of issues:remote freezes and have to turn off and start back up. no epg. Disappointing amount of programing, very, very, slow to load. On the positive, very nice picture quality. I hope the bugs will get better, hate to be critical because its obvious you have worked hard on this. I cannot get any PVR on my Kodi, so I'' keep my eye on this. oh, one other positive: very easy to load from a thumb drive.

DID a fresh start up this morn. loaded ares fresh everything went great except after open iptv plus it took over 3 hours to download it whats up with that i know its not on my end when i DL ares 256 mg it onlt took 10 mins but after i set up itpv plus the normally way started it right up playing great .GOOD WORK

I have also tried to load using spartan, and Daras' 07-24-15. am doing a factory reset each time. I will get authentication failure, or with adding a source --unable to get epg. ninja with iptv subs/clairvoyance sources. Is it possible my box is corrupted? appreciate any help.
