last night 8 pm central time every channel had buffering, unwatchable. this is a common occurance and I don't know why anyone would buy a new donation. worked better before when you didn't expect anything, why don't they fix the channels we have and don't put new channels that don't work in the list. the theory of iptv is great the service is very far from that. how many other people feel the same way?

Each time a mod comes on to tell one of us that the problem/s that we are having is far from his door i ask where in the world that person is and if he is linked to the same system that we have running, similar equipment etc because how can so much off us in the same boat facing the same storm and the majority are drowning like me with freezing and stucking screen lastnight to no sound this morning on all channels even after doing everything except speaking from the box myself not be suffering the same way

Starz East was fairly choppy last night between 8PM ET and midnight. Crime + Investigation was fine though. Those were the only two channels I watched last night.

Saturday is usually the day that they do maintenance, especially when a special sporting event. It should clear up, but if you are still having trouble, then there could be a host of problems. One of the biggest problems is for people on DSL. This service is restricted to good quality if you are close to a distribution point. Maximum distance from this point is 5 miles. Any further and you will basically have dial-up speeds. This also is subject to line noise that your ear might not pick up with a telephone but your modem definitely will have to request a re-transmission of the packet. This takes time and buffering on streaming services. You might only experience a slight delay of updating a web page, of which you think nothing of. Another problem can be devices attached to your modem. I have a magic jack and with an older router caused me problems, of which a new router solved the problem. If you are using a wifi connection, consider a cat5 cable connection. Long runs of these can also cause problems unless you use a cat6 cable. This is a higher quality cable. When using wifi, the channel that your router is set to can be a problem also. There are only 3 clear channels by design, 1, 6, 11. The others share bandwidth with the adjacent channel/s. With most routers you can change these channels. You might have several neighbors on the same channel causing noise and request for re-transmission of packet. Cordless telephones on the same band (2.5mh) can cause noise, if not in your house, then a close neighbors. I used to use a 2.5g telephone and talked on it getting into my truck headed to a neighbors about a mile away. Our houses were elevated above the river valley and when I got there the phone rang and I conversed. The newest routers have wifi on a 5gh frequency of which has fewer competing services using. The range is not as far either. The 5gh frequency is also used for a faster transmitting of packets. The other type of service is cable internet. This is usually the best service and the fastest for home use. This service uses connections like your cable tv uses and satellite tv uses. One of the weaknesses for this is a bad F connector. A lot of people like the screw on type not the compression type. These can and do cause problems. Any exposed to weather such as freezing rain and snow will allow water to enter the cable and corrode the cable and connection. Protect all connections out doors. There again, the cable maintenance people try but do not always succeed some by laziness. Any TV channels filters on your line can go bad and cause interference with your internet. There are a lot more problems that can cause problems. Microwave towers, cell phone towers. The list is limitless. Do your part on your end and try to eliminate as many as you can. Please, also let us know if any fixes you try work. This could help someone else in the future.

there looks to be freezing as number of users come online. Especially with the timing of east to west coast. At around 6 pm PST, the load must get completely saturated as the freezing increases at that time. Probably load balancing issues.
I bet if you did the poll of east coast to west coast I bet there is a correlation.
