Hello,
The name is Robert and I am in Central Scotland and have an interest in all things communication and have the amateur radio callsign GM0CSN.
My interest in communication has brought my attention to IPTV, which looks very interesting, particularly the ability to view the foreign TV channels, I already have a stearable satellite dish which provides me with access to FTV channels in Europe, I use to be able to access PTV channels also but the business I bought the system from and provided a yearly fee to has "gone" (rumours of some "grey" practices), so no more PTV, which although annoying is not too bad.
The IPTV is particularly interesting for the access to US (and other?) country TV channels obviously outside the range of UK based satellite and terrestial systems.
I have received a MAG254 this Christmas and have attempted to set it up , following the MAG254 setup guide by BIO, but although I believe I have followed to the letter, at the final stage rebooting the box stays at the blue screen with the "flashing" bar.
I do not suppose, this is the area to get help, but if someone can point me in the direction that I might provide details and get a solution so that I can access the stations.
