Hi Guys
Newbie here needing some advice.
I have been looking to get myself an IPTV box and a rocket/route however I'm unsure of the best way to go about it, I have been advised that the android boxes with kodi can require a lot of manual maintenance, is this the case?
I heard the Linux based boxes such as the Mag 254 are very easy to work with for people that want something that will just run once setup, is this correct?
As for picking your channels where is best to check what's available?
All advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Mag 254 or and Avov device are the best!!Easy to set up and work great!!Avov for me because it combines IPTV and Kodi so it's a win win situation!!IMHO

Id say vixo2 if you are into gaming
My personal favorite is the tvonline plus although the vixo 2 and the fuse have more memory
check the avov out here http://shop-can.avov.tv/

I probably wouldn't game on this tbh, it's more for movies on demand and sports.

I had a mag 254, the epg was good but it truly comes in from the provider not the box!!!unless you are using the middleware program from kodi where you can attached epg via third party software!!Mag 254 does not support Kodi fyi!!

Cheers Laser, looks like I do need kodi as I believe that's the only way to get the Celtic and Rangers channels.
All good choices like Laser said and Farmer said Avov can do both and the Mag can do only iptv just do more research and reading enjoy.

That's the problem, the more I read the more confused I get lol.
I do still think the TVonline+ is the box for me, it's now about finding the right IPTV provider & that's where it seems to get quite murky....

I have both the Mag 254 and the Avov TVonline+. I prefer the Avov box.
