Is there anyway to update this box as it keeps freezing?

Do a factory reset and hard wire it to your router..see if that helps..

You might check to see what wifi channel your router is set to. There are only three good channels to use 1., 6., and 11. The other are sharing bandwidth with adjacent channels. Depending on where you live you may need to get a program that tells you the cleanest channel. Telephones, and other routers for neighbors can cause havoc with signal quality. Your box most likely also has the new ac on 5gb and that is a faster transfer speed and definitely after I changed to a new router that had the AC 5g service stopped my freezing/buffering for my box that also has this but my AVOV boxes still freeze since they only have the 2.5g frequency and b/g/n. Hope this info can help you.

for me wi-fi is great for general surfing and youtube vids and suck but when it comes to live tv streams i just use Ethernet cables ...but i was looking at some power line adapters
