Fuse not scanning for wifi networks

I had the WiFi setup fine,I turned off the box and now the WiFi won't work..I had probloms when I first got it ..all I did was hook it directly to the router and it scanned after I disconnected it ..Now it won't do anything..it asks me to add a network, but last time it scanned for it and all I had to do was put in the password. .
So basically the WiFi isn't working ..I'm only 15 feet from the router...
Like I said it won't even scan for available wifi connections ..HELP !!!

did you remove the cat5 cable from the box??

I tried it with it as well as without it..like I said it did this when I first set it up ..but then it finally scanned for a connection.sould I factory reset or could it be a hard where problom ?

I just tried turning on the WiFi hotspot,that won't come on either..says it's turning on but just sits there

turn on wifi remove cat5 reboot fuse then after reboot go to wifi in settings and add your wifi password should work

settings wifi goto your ssid name use the password for your wireless network (if any} connect

That's the problom...it's not seeing the network !!so I cannot even enter he pass word..it's not scanning for any network

Basically it only works when hard wired....I need the wifi to work..I'm starting to think it's a hardware problom..I'm just got the boc on Dec 3rd

turn off fuse reboot your router and modem after they are restarted turn on fuse go to wifi settings look for your ssid if not seen hit ok on remote a box will pop up to add your wifi settings add your info should be good to go. also check on your router to see if your wifi network is not set to invisable

I tried everything you guys have suggested...nothing ...I tried to manually put it in. .but it gives me a network not saved error when I try to save it.
I have another avov online box and it's fine ..
My tablet and playstation can see the network ...only the fuse cant..
When I first set it up ..it even saw the neighbors wifi ...
Now nothkng

so you redid the box and it updated and reboot the router and the the box and nogo on cat5 would start a ticket
