Better Remote for Avov vixo 2

Anyone fond a better Remote for the Vixo2? the remote that comes with the box is not very good at all. You have be be 3 feet next to the box in order for that remote to work properly

i had issues with the remote. my vixo 2 is above my tv and i had to prop up the back of the box to point down at an angle and no longer have issues with the remote.
give it a try.

Well i was able to program my Harmony One remote from Logitech and it learned all the commands from the Vixo 2 remote. It's Awesome one remote for all my Devices, Man i can even program my AC unit's and Lights in my house. Seems the harmony one sends out the signal strong enough for the vixo to capture.

I use a harmony as well.great remote program your Avov ,tv and amp to turn on all at the same time.

Personally, I believe the remote for the vixo 2 is the better of the remotes.

I have to agree...I love my Vixo 2 but the remote needs work. That's why I had asked if anyone had been able to get an android remote to work!

I have programmed my Vixo 2 remote to use with a Minix system using FLIRC. It works great from far away and all kinds of different angles. On the Vixo 2 that same remote has to be aimed at a specific angle and location to work. It's not the remote that is the problem, it's the IR receiver on the Vixo 2.
