Service & Quality Changed To Steady!!

I don't know what has happened man. In the last 24hrs this service has just jumped levels in quality and its steady its frightening!!!! Lets hope its here to stay. At this level of service quality you would conquer the whole world!!

I've been told that it wasn't as bad as you are making it out to be. However this person was using a MAG 254, and it did freeze here and there in the first half but towards the end of the game on USA it froze a bit more frequently, but definitely not unwatchable, and they are saying things are pretty smooth right now as I type.

I've been told there's been lots of improvement this week, and one of the real tests will be tomorrow with Sunday Ticket.

Christmas is almost here... just saying folks you MAY be in for a treat from NFPS/Rocket/IPTV66, a guess on my part.

works for me (mac mini, kodi), but depends of the hours. But generally, always something to watch as sky always working (i'm only watching movies...)

my (little complain) : quality of usa channels was better before in definition. Before the mpeg 2 gate :)
and i really would like to have star movies in a cleaner way.

I don't understand how it works sometime because France 24 (HD 720) work perfect for me.

but Sy Fy (540) buffer every ten seconds.

But anyway it's still very correct for something nearly free.

But i would prefer to pay more, having all the channels in 540 or 576 (not HD), for a service working perfectly all the time.

I got AMC and others premium on other service (free app). It's stunning 576, works. But never use theim as there's not the guide and everything...

I honestly think it's a kodi problem more then the service. I'm now using a MAG254 I just bought. And the service has been almost perfect. I have 30mbit Internet, with kodi iptv is unwatchable

i got a mac mini 8 gb ram, dual core I7, just for the TV and sound, it got 6 months... i think a mag 254 isn't that enough powerful. But it works for you.

But i don't want to try, to buy this, to have again money wasted.

this service was at the beginning a kodi app no ? IPTV stalker ? (maybe i'm wrong...)

SO if it's not working an a mac mini with kodi (virgin, no 200 app or skin...)... i would not understand.

I will not buy a box at 70 bucks...

The service works on my mac but no there, now, buffering every 30 or 40 scs. It's the week end. Sky and UK channels are OK as usual. Sky is nearly stunning all time, perfect definition for 480. So i'm happy cause 100 bucks a year just to have sky... it's good for me :)

It's been a long time i made test. It works when USA sleep. Really good. But in evenings for USA (NY time) and WE. Nearly unwatchable for me (UK channels OK). So it's not my set up or my connection because all times of the day (not US time) it's working pretty ok.

It's the servers which are not large enough for the demand i think. And ok, i'm very far from them also. But if it works sometimes....

So i think, if this service is the same, in one year, with all the donations they got to have, more subs, more watchers, and there's not an improvement in hardware...

It will be unwatchable.

It's normal guys make money with this, they deserve it. But like a company (i got one). Making profit, and making better. Normal.
But at the end of my donation. If nothing has changed. I will not sub again. It was perfect when i bought it. And two weeks after. The crash. Less definition. Problems with Mpeg. I don't understand why this change... WAS STUNNING in november.

But really impressive good work anyway. Sometime i'm happy with, sometime not, and i go to bed ;)

Have you tried putting the advanced.xml Files in your user data folder? That helped me with buffering when I was running kodi. The files can be found in the kodi section of these forums.

The end again...

last night, perfect, was working top good.

Today, NONE of the channels (even sky...) are ok, buffering every 3 scs. Guide got a problem too apparently.

Just to be sure it was not from my side, i restart modem, mac mini.. all. like we do every day...

Still don't work.

I tried an app i got on kodi, dex... TV, to see if it was my connection.

And actually i'm watching Moremax in 720p absolutely stunning quality. And others in 720p, never buffering, even one second.

So, guys, stop saying it's our set up or the weather or i don't know what.

It's your servers. That's all.

Agreed with jrp82, other Kodi apps are fine, but the servers are freezing or buffering. Maybe servers are over loaded, servers need to be updated to take the load.

and almost, the quality of the SD channels (i'm watching the simpsons on fox just now), is STUNNING. Looks like nearly 720. And some are in Mpeg2, perfect, no freezing at all.

It would be normal we have this kind of quality on NFPS... as it is on the free apps.

kodi is not the best method to watch IPTV, this has been explained over and over. There have been many fixes and posts for improvement for kodi users. I see that you have ignored them or haven't even tried them. This works but yours doesn't is not a valid or even logical reason for the issues, thks...

i just try now, 8h24 AM NY time, and it's working perfect, all channels... very fast changing in the PVR, 0 buffering. PERFECT.

I feel i'm the only one to watching.

But it's midnight for me.

In fact, like i said, when US off.... it's working for the rest of the world...

US channels are not that great, they looks some sort of pixelated, not smooth as UK channels. Just some looks nice like ABC News, movies on the 300's or maybe some NY locals when they're up.

I have 6 of these subscriptions in my home and another 15-20 in the 'wild'. Most run Kodi, yes. Some others are on settop boxes.
I've implemented various of the fixes suggested here and other sites to 'fix' 'minimize' the issues to no avail. If it works even one time on your setup with 0 issues, that is your baseline. If it falters anytime else, then you can interject that its not your setup.

So as I tell others I offer this to, in the wild - It will freeze, channels will stop working and work on other days, it will not be great quality, if HD is what you want (this isnt the solution)... because the reality is, at the end of the day, that is what the service is offering us right now. I cant troubleshoot what cant be controlled locally

I have been using this service via Kodi on windows boxes and the quality has been so so. 2 pcs have no issues and one has been problematic. I just got a Minix Neo X8-H Plus and I have to say that the difference is night and day. PVR loads immediately and the quality of streams looks so much better. Actually, I'm rather amazed after having all the issues with Kodi on windows with this service. Now I just have to get acquainted better with android since I only have experience with my HTV phone.

Bottom line - I'm glad I got the Minix as opposed to the Mag 254 I was going to buy.

This may be so from the point of view of the provider of the IPTV service. Speaking from an end user perspective, KODI is the way of the future. Kodi's ability to handle both Live TV and On Demand staff via the addons is unparalleled. The Mag254 set top box uses Linux 2.6.23 which is not user friendly for control and input purposes for the end user. Android and Windows are the two most popular systems for KODI users with Windows being the most fluid. Prior to changing to being a paid service, the Stalker service worked flawlessly on KODI. Fact. For those who have the correct KODI set up, IPTV service works perfectly/ Speaking for myself, I balance up your service with KODI addons. For example live sports, anyone trying to rely on Stalker for a perfect service is dreaming. There are plenty of KODI addons that will give you a perfect flawless solution. The clonability of the Stalker service in my humble opinion is what has affected the overall quality of the service. I urge NFPS to invest in further R&D to make the service full proof. KODI is the way of the future.

I agree with you Zuggi. It works perfectly on my mac mini / kodi / pvr stalker client. But only on certain times/hours. So it's not my set up which would works the AM, and not the PM.... :)

I also agree that a lot of addons that have US channels works perfect too for me, even for 1080i channels for me ! NOT a single buffering.

The problem of those add ons is that changing channels is really long sometime.... and you don't have TV guide... Yes you can install Ivue guide but pfffff, not reliable... you must link each channels of different add ons...

NFPS is really great for this. It's an "all included pack".

I hope it will be better and better. US channels really needs to have a better definition. The same Sky movies has (a good 480). US are in 480 but it's really too pixels. 540 or 576 would be the best deal. This service is not ready for HD.

i don't say kodi is the best way. I just don't wanna buy another box (i already got 2 for other services). I got a 2015 mac mini dual core with 8gb of ram, the service works perfect for me on kodi when servers are not overload. (midnight for me, pacific time).

I was happy because sky was always working. As i was saying in another post, a donation just for sky is already cool for me :)

But this last days sky was no longer working too. :(

And it's been a long time the service is "under maintenance until further notice"....
