PVR Stalker Client NFPS for OPENELEC

Hi Guys - running Openelec on an Intel Nuc and want to change from Salker to the PVR Stalker in readiness for change over that's coming. The problem is the built in PVR client in openelec dosen't work and there are no new NFPS PVR clients available for openelec. Will these surface soon ?. They are availalble for android, Windows and MacOS but not generic openelec for AMD/Intel chipsets.

ebay has windows 7 about $50-$60 bucks. something to think about?

Have a spare copy of Windows 10 Sandiver but don't want to go down that route if I can help it. Openelec was built to run Kodi and is super quick and efficient. Rather like using a stand-alone media player. Can't believe either NFPS or Openelec aren't considering releasing a PVR Client for it. There are 10's of thousands of openelec distros downloaded and is probably the best route to go for a truly independent media centre.

pvr stalker client is working fine in openelec.. what do you mean its not working? what version pvc stalker addon are you using?

Please can you check and see what version it is? Its always 0.8.0 for any openelec 6.0 ive installed and that wont work at all for nfps. Tried multiple times setting it up. If yours is newer maybe it'll work. And I'm talking about x86_64 version. Not arm boards life RPI.

Yea - using version 0.8.3 which came with openelec (latest version 6 for x86-x64 platforms) . Just can't get it to work, nor can the guys who I bought the Sub off. The IPTV Stalker client works fine but not the PVR client.

No - as i said, sub works fine on iptv stalker - its just the pvr client that won't work.

I dunno what you could be doing wrong.i just installed same version.2 minutes up and running.
I assume you installed pvr.stalker from openelec repo?
what are your settings?

Yep - using the PVR Client that came with openelec. Was told to use instructions for setting up with sub:
1. Go to System>Addons>My Addons>Video Addons>PVR
2. Click to open and then select configure
3. Select the “GENERAL” tab and set the “TIMEOUT” to 15 seconds
4. Then select “PORTAL 1” and enter your registered “MAC ADDRESS”
5. Set the “SERVER ADDRESS” to: 11.iptvprivateserver.tv
6. Then go to “SERIAL NUMBER” and put 13 characters using a mix of letters and numbers, I usually use: asdfg12345asd
7. You need to configure “DEVICE ID”, “DEVICE ID 2” and “SIGNATURE” with 4 characters all have to be different, e.g. 73nd
8. Then select “OK” to save the settings
9. Next select “ENABLE” to activate the PVR client

Anything look wrong Blackbear? Would love to get this going.

it should work as you have it though.
your getting unable to load?
are you using the same serial number,ect that your working iptv stalker is using?
if not reset your mac(change it by 1 number/letter) on papiao/iks66 and don't try iptv stalker,change your mac in pvr stalker to match.
enable live tv(the first time u will get unable to load),disable/enable live tv again and it should load second time.

Getting the 'loading channel list' for about 30 seconds, then get 'PVR Stalker Failed' message. Have tried putting the 'Http' in front of the address. I'll try resetting my mac address as you've suggested and give it another go.

have you tried going to the system settings for TV and disabling the tv option then clear cache on general and guide and then re-enable TV, sometimes that's all it takes.

Just tried that Sandiver - it attempts to load channels but now I get error 'can't load channel list'. Hmmm

you do know that you don't need a EPG url in the pvr settings, you can set guide preference to prefer xlmtv but leave the remote url blank and you will still receive the epg.

the pvr addon always fail the very first time you enable it for some reason. at least on android and windows and me and others.. heh
try get a link a new mac, then when it fails to load channels do not panic, re-enable the addon, the tv function, or restart kodi and it will load.

later versions of the addon automatically attempts to re-connect so you wont really notice it.

Thanks for all your help guys. Tried everything that everyone has suggested (many many times). Just get failed to load program data each and every time.
Going to give up for now - its taken over my life ha ha !!

Whey Hey - got it working !! Reset the MAC again and changed the 'serial number' field to all numbers and this time everything started up. Thank you so much guys for all your help.

openelec_stalker PVR

I'm on openelec on a MXQ box. Running OpenELEC-Amlogic.arm-MXQ-6.0.0.2 rom, which is kodi 15.2 with older pvr 0.8.4 the only connection_timeout ----- 15 . I did go into the setting.xml file and tried the 120 but no go.

This only works for me for a little while with NO EPG. As soon as I turn on/off the box can't load channels. I got it up and running for a minute with special://userdata/addon_data/pvr.stalker/epg_xmltv.xml (no EPG) then I installed the repository.********** and enabled still NO EPG. Then connection fail.

I have donations for both (66IKS) & (NFPS) I also tried https://papiao.is/main/EPG/mac/00:1A:78:xx:xx:xx/donation/xxxxxxxxxxxx/fname/NFPSF1 for both (66IKS) & (NFPS) NO LUCK. The Clairvoyants pvr zips do not offer linx for my application.

I just don't understand why at first it works then it stops.

I also uninstalled system and reinstalled. Tried New mac - reset mac, Clear data tons of times. Used mucky duck clear cache and packages. Reboot ...reboot. Going crazy cause it did work but won't hold. I also tried
hxxp://11.iptvprivateserver.tv/ which will work like the other for a minute, NO EPG then box off box on FAIL !!!!


UPDATE

I finally got it to stick on/off channels load (whoo) BUT..........LOL no EPG.

The reason the channels didn't stick was because when I kept clearing data it also clears 120 in the settings .xml file. So I go back redo and it finally stuck. But where the hell is my EPG!!! No joy.

Do I need to install the repository.********** , to get the EPG? I'm almost afraid to mess with it. LOL

just set pvr stalker 0.8.4 or 0.8.3 epg guide preference to local file and then set the path(navgate) to stotage/.kodi/userdata.addon_data.pvr.stalker and select epg_xmtlv.xml
that will allow pvr stalker 0.8.x to use the file that epg updater downloads.
for kodi 15.2 u probably need to enable the "get offset-1 Hour" option in stalker epg updater,in you menu's its in add-ons/myadd-ons/services/stalker epg updater then select settings.

My joy went away now nothing works. All my repos say incompatible. I did a new install and I still can't get any addons to work???
No clue. Did I fry the box ? kodi loads but no addon will work. Help

goto userdata/database folder and delete any addons.db files.could be named expample addons19.db,addons.20.db.delete all that start with addons with .db extensions.
start kodi and it will rebuild you addon database,all fixed.

goto userdata/database folder and delete any addons.db files.could be named expample addons19.db,addons.20.db.delete all that start with addons with .db extensions.
start kodi and it will rebuild you addon database,all fixed.)

and all is good again.
