I have been trying to make my new mag254 work for a few weeks and no luck. I feel as though I.ve read for hours and hours. I have ordered two different subscriptions and it did the same with both and after I probable insulted the first guy because I was sure it was his fault. Today I reset the box and followed the setup instructions posted here step by step. The problem is that It acts like it is going to work but the tv chanels just dont stream unless its in the lower 600 channels (espana). also when I try the movies in video club it looks like it will load and then brings up a screen that says file missing. What am I doing wrong. I have had my internet tested and I'm getting almost 10 meg.

VOD aren't working at this time.
If you getting some channels, then you do have it connected, just not working up to par. The server is partially to blame for that, it's having some buffering issues, which might be kicking you off the channel.
I don't know what you can do with the mag or your connection to get that working properly, but must be something.
