IPTV Stalker continues to work with valid MACs attached to valid donations/rockets/routes, without the need of your donation number being sent from this addon. However, that doesn't mean that in the future that this will continue indefinitely. The security on the server side apparently will make it easier for them to identify MACs that aren't valid, and to shut down those connections. For the most part, clones are not working, and those that appear to be are probably just using public streams.

All users are still encouraged to use the PVR Stalker or the PVR Stalker NFPS. If you still wish to use IPTV Stalker, don't expect a lot of help, the tutorials are clear on what you need to do.

To add to dara's post.. using IPTV stalker going forward sounds like it may we a good way to have your account disabled, as it doesntt send the auth.. everyone should probably stop using it right now to avoid future problems until we know more.

Dara, this is GOOD NEWS and is VERY welcomed by MANY users of this service! We realize as users that we are walking a "tightrope" under the circumstances, with such a special privilege but are nevertheless very GRATEFUL for the "lifeline" you have thrown to us, who, for various reasons (cannot invest in an iptv box at the moment, e.g., etc) have/prefer to continue using the addon. Thank you and the "management" for your very kind consideration. Such a gesture can only raise your 'favourability" image among your clients/users- and maybe even positively impact your bottom line!

I think you're dreaming. The furthest the statement went was...

It doesn't say IPTV Stalker will be shutdown the same day password/username authentication is implemented. It is you reading into it, creating a tempest in a teapot. I suspect they're giving people a little extra time to set-up an alternative means for accessing streams. There's no sinister objective taking that course.

I wasn't even going to reply to this ...as it really does not deserve it...But ...I will ..considering the mentality.

For one...The statement from NFPS states ...The stalker video add-on will not work without ...username - password authentication ( donation number) beginning Feb 1st.
This is pretty easy to decipher ...don`t you think? or What part of this statement confuses you?

Now all people using clones or Hijacked macs with their clone video stalker add-ons will no longer get their free TV fix after Feb 1st .

The majority of them unauthorized user will now ...Rush to buy legitimate subscriptions to the servers ...Believing the said statement from the NFPS support service to be Fact.

I can not say for certain this is a marketing ploy to boost subscribers, revenue, base (But sure as hell smells like it to me)...But to say your dreaming is for certain been totally blinkered in your thoughts concerning the said statement.

Let`s look to stocks & shares (financial markets investment) as an Example: A company releases a positive statement = Stocks rise people Buy the stock
A company releases a negative statement = major disruptions falls , stocks collapse.
NFPS statement was without Doubt extremely positive.... Look to analysis ...not thought.

Clear cache stalker working

Whatever you do, do not reset a working MAC using the implemented donation checker if you must use the IPTV Stalker. You can do a clear cache, but if you reset a mac, the server won't be able to match it up from IPTV Stalker, even if you fill in the serial number, device id and signatures.

What a fiasco. Just jumped on to see what's going on, and this is absurd. So many fixes and advise, and do this and try that. Just Horrible. And all seems to stop 3 idiots with clones.

Closing and unsticking thread. A work around that doesn't bypass server authentication exists. I'll review the code in 9.0.21 to see if it's possible to integrate the workaround to generate a working Device ID using a user provided serial number and donation number.

You are still highly encouraged to use the pvr.stalker and pvr.stalker.nfps add-ons which have a great EPG.
