new dreamlinkt6 set up

I would like to set up my dreamlinkt6 for iptv, but having issue. it was working with iks for 1 month and provider issue,now looking to go iptv and look at Hank Venture video however some step that he has is not on my dreamlinkt6 with kodi. not very computer smart therefore having issue on set up. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you for the info, one more stupid question do I take the box and hook to computer directly to load these files as I have tried doing it at tv and not working even having wi fi hooked up to box.

hi crazed 2.0, I have read all the info you provided and my box worked on iks until last week and would like to go to iptv, however having issue that system is connected to internet and mac & ip address provided but when trying to install repository file it telling me sites not found. I'm lost and confused.

you maybe have an internet connection issue ?
First thing, if not using IKS, then turn the server off and that way the TVHeadend won't interfere at all with Kodi setup.
Check in Network menu to ensure the network IPs are populating correctly.
Turn T6's rear switch off, disconnect the ethernet cable. Turn T6 on. Look in Network menu and IPs should be all zeros or all same as Gateway IP.
Now connect that ethernet and then reboot that rear switch again and enter the Network menu to see IP populate.

morning, fallowed your instruction from last reply and once Ethernet cable was disconnected IP page was blank, powered off reconnected and IP & Mac came up all the same in different locations. then went to file manager to install kodi:metalkettle.co and got the same info that site not found or not connected. I have erase all IKS info from system. lost on what to do next. once again if somebody has any thought on what I'm doing wrong and able to help me get tv back would be great.
