Hello,
I noticed that there are a few channels with the wrong aspect ratio. These channels are IFC, TNT and the Science Channel. There may be more.
IFC is 4x3 as of a few days ago.
TNT and the Science Channel are squished wide screen since the beginning.
I can correct these through Kodi.
Is there a way to get a custom aspect ratio per channel?
Thanks.

If you bring up the on screen display menu while watching a particular channel & adjust the view mode in video settings the setting for that particular channel will (or at least should) be automatically be remembered the next time you view that channel, unless you choose 'set as default for all videos'.

Thanks eureka.
I just checked and the pixel ratio doesn't stick around for me. Is there another option to just save to that channel?
Thanks.

Not that I know of. if you can't get what you want by configuring your choice by using the main video playback settings (advanced or expert level) e.g. display 4:3 videos as Stretch 16:9 or whatever, or if doing as I suggested above isn't working for you (it's possibly dependant on Kodi version/your specific device) I've no idea. I do know that Jarvis will have the option to display 4:3 as 16:9 non-linear stretch which will improve things.
This might be your answer. Most issues revolve around streams being displayed in 4:3 aspect ratio.
System > Settings > Video > Playback > "Display 4:3 videos as" > Choose Stretch 16:9
