View Full Version : EPG 1 hour off on NFPSE & NFPSED.

It seems I've tried everything to fix my 1 hour EPG setting, tried both ninja NFPSE and NFPSED, cleared data each time, rebooted, etc. The EPG is always an hour off. For example, if it's 8:00, I have to look at 7:00 for shows playing right now.
I'm using Stalker Client with the ninja EPG.

Epg has been jacked up for the past week or so. Hopefully they'll get around to fixing it soon.

Try adjusting the time of your device an hour ahead. Worked for me.

Does this work for anyone else?

I'm on Pacific time and its 10:10am. I set my box two hours ahead to the central time zone and now my box says it is 12:10am and the epg is showing 10pm (but the program being shown is still wrong.( and is still wrong even if I just set the box 1 hour ahead, in which case the box says 11:10am and the epg shows content from 9am.)
They have their 12midnight and 12 noon mixed up or something?
Regardless though, no matter what the time shown says, the block of programming shown for that hour still seems to be an hour off.
Edit: just set my box to GMT +8 instead of -8. Time on box shows changed, time on program block changed, but the show that's playing didn't.
However the box decides to show what's currently playing doesn't seem to be effected by changing the time on the box.
No, there's something more going on, and I won't hazard a guess as to what it is. My epg was always off 1 hour before the time change. Now it is spot on.

have u used pvr.stalker.nfps from http://**********
i am in the same timezone as you, you shoudlnt be having problems here..
what OS are you using
What timezone is your device set to (in the OS)
does your OS have a DST radio button, what is it set to
.. to fix
(method 1)
In your OS settings (NOT KODI) change your timezone to the next one over...( +1 ),, then set your time manually so it appears correct (disable auto time updates).
then, in kodi, reset your database and restart kodi..
(method 2)
look at the alternative links in the ********** thread.. and use one of them.
then, in kodi, reset your database and restart kodi..
hint: resetting your database, and restarting kodi before it reloads is essential!!!!!!!

Personally, I'm on an avov box and use the built in middleware, so there's little I can do aside from changing the time zone. Just gotta wait for a fix.

ah that is nothing we can fix... soemthing wrong with avov firmware perhaps..

Think you might be right on that. New firmware dropped on the 9th, and I posted about the epg being wrong on the 11th... And it's been wrong ever since.
Wish we could roll back the firmware.

none work right on avov or the mag
It could be the firmware for the boxes, but it also could be an issue at the provider server. I'm petty sure it wouldn't be an issue with the guide itself.

Mag boxes are having this issue too?

OK, so from what I'm gathering here its not a problem with the data we're getting from epgninja. It's effecting people across multiple platforms, so it probably isn't the boxes themselves.
That leaves the stalker server, I'm guessing.
Anyone care to shoot them a message so they can have a look? (Although how they haven't noticed on their own is surprising, as I'd figure they'd be using the service at home like we all do... But I digress.) Maybe they could take a peek and see if we can't get it sorted for good.

mag/avov users.. we will look into it.. ill talk to the admins
Kodi users
we are trying a new manual fix blackbear is working on.. use fname values if "FULLUTC-X" (right now we just have -3, -4 , -5 , -6 , -7 ,-8
ex EST uses FULLUTC-5, PST uses FULLUTC-8), once testing passes well do all timezones..
after switching to one of those fnames you MUST clear your database and restart kodi.

I have the same problem with my Mag254. Has been like this for at least a week. Tried changing time zones forward and back, but to no avail.
Think it has something to do with ninja.
