They were kind enough to wait for me to jump on board before price increase :))
Got mine on October 20th, so I definitely should be grateful. And service seems with much less freezing.

Sorry to shock you but $105 for a year is cheap, look at the amount of channels!!if you do a comparison with the current market value it is a great deal!!Also remember the costs that involves such large enterprise!!

It would be a good deal if they can get the service to where channels do not freeze. Otherwise, who wants to watch studder?

I have very little issues with the service and it keeps on getting better!!If you can find a better deal then good for you!! $105 a year is a great deal !! Most Channels are running great and you also received support here with a great community!!

my biggest issue with the price increase is in my travels I have found over 10 hacks to get there channels those are highly advertised on other web sites
so figure they have a few thousand member using them for free
I really wish they stuck to the game plan and only allowed the two boxes Mag and the Avov with this unsecured network allows the end user to constant problem who pay for the service

i see them pop up everyday and a day later they are down i think they nip it in butt for most part and they are working to make it the best they can

Honestly, you don't know what their "game plan" was with regard to the to STBs. When the service started, yes, those boxes were compatible with the Stalker middleware, but so was the STB Emulator. The specs on connecting to the server are public, so that's how the Kodi add-ons were created. The paradigm of having to use a specified device for a service is as dated as having to use a pulse dial telephone on your local telephone company. If the service didn't work, do you actually think there would be that much effort to leech it? Password authentication is on its way, but maybe they need to make sure it will work for as many as it can.

dara think you need to read the very first post about what boxes they were to only allowed then people bitched and complained then they started allowing stalker (play store) in the free service
and yes everyone that I know has this as a free service they are so cheap they wouldn't pay the 80 bucks lmao
and now that the price jumped up it will get even worse because more hackers will join the club
like I said there are ten out there that I am aware of and I bet ya there are a lot more hacked into this stalker middleware as it isn't secured with just a mac address to simple for these guys to get
A lot of the kodi wizards have a version of the hack those are free paid ones probably even more
but hey staff edit: foul language removeddo I know I was a programmer for 30 +years retired

Its not a matter of free tvers not willing to pay...the problem is nfps is not secure, anyone who can make up a bunch of letters and numbers can watch it. The other problem is that it simply does not have the channels that iks had and third lots of channels go down regularly such as diy (which has been down for days, channel comes in but its black) and they regularly mix up channels. AS for the freezing well most days it works okay and others like weekends you get freezing. When they fix all that most people would be glad to pay.

So long as the service improves, I feel that the price is fair and will continue to sub.
As it stands though, I can't and won't recommend to friends and family because of the freezing issues. They wouldn't know, care, or understand the behind the scenes reasons for why it's freezing. They'd just resent the fact I talked them into buying $200+ worth of iptv stuff when the service has issues a lot of the time. I'd rather just let them bitch about their cable bills until the service is truly solid.

I know the history. The boxes were recommended... not necessarily "authorized". Like I said, you don't know the motivations of the P$... no one knows but them. If they wanted to limit it to the STBs, they would have specifically said that, and as I stated, the MAG boxes were already emulated.
Password authentication is on its way, don't know when, but when it does, IPTV Stalker (the video add-on) will probably die.

I too am very satisfied with my subscription purchase. But I'm retired and don't really mind the constant freezing. It's definitely not what I expected but for the price I'm willing to put up with the problems. I also can't at this time recommend this service to anyone. I have 9 children and my original plan was to buy each one a subscription. I've already given them all firestick's with Kodi and some other stuff sideloaded. I find out that my son has a Stalker Clone that he's been using for 3 weeks with no problems. He even sent me the Url and I've used it lately. When my "paid"mac is freezing and acting up. I am able to view the same channels on the clone with No problems. My Son says it went down for about 3 hours and the guy tweeted that he was working on it. I can't understand how he's getting better service for free. That's why I can't recommend this to anyone. Even though the price is not high (I just learned it's higher than it was last month ). If they can find the same thing for Free, who am I to tell them not to?

How many users per server does NFPS allocate? Are they overselling their service?

With the quality of channels $105 way to much, the quality = streaming sites from a pc

$105 is fine specially with the edition of NBA League Pass and NFL Sunday Ticket. No complaints here. I have no buffering since increased my internet speeds and and got away from the fire sticks. I have 2 fire tv 4k boxes and 1 Nvidia Shield running on 75 gb internet speeds.

Thanks Dara for the info. When IPTV Stalker (the video Add-on ) dies as a result of Password Authentication....what will become of some of us the KODI USERS?

Well thats a bunch of crap...i have yet to get the stalker pvr to work on any of my devices despite following posts to the letter..the stalker addon with ivue guide is awesome..started using helix again as isengard just slows down my box and phone and regularly has to be force closed because its locking up..I see stalker pvr has to be used on at least 15.0 kodi isengard..which is another load of crap.....hope that this is doesnt end up being the actual case
For one, I didn't think that IPTV Stalker would have worked after the P$ went pay, but it may not be a difficult code change to include a password to validate a subscription, but it just doesn't have it now. If they want, the P$ could just enforce the setting of the custom fields for the serial number, which should kill off most of the leaches, but will cause issues with many legitimate setups. If you can't get the pvr.stalker to work on your Android, the emulators are a good option... works on on XBMC Frodo and up.
Just to stay on topic, the P$ does need funds to keep the server going, and it's just more expensive to do that than IKS.

How many of you remember the birth of IKS? My memory tells me that there were a lot of freezing involved there and there was not nearly the load on the internet that streaming requires today. Now days the problem with IKS is the ECM's. I still run both. Enjoy your boxes, it can get worse before it gets better. I suspect I have already seen some internet manipulation to effect the streaming.
