If your just using it for watching TV and you do not have a 4K TV that supports 60 fps then probably not. The next step down would probably be the new Fire TV and would save you a 100 bucks. You can also play games on the Fire TV and get a controller for like 50. You would have to side load Kodi and a couple of other apps but that is not hard to do.

absolutely worth every Canadian penny! 315.00can (.74cent to us dollar) I had a htpc power house but 1200w is nuts.. this little shield is the only box that can do my all day , every day use, and girlfriend friendly, best device I have used yet.

it also runs roms for - psp, dreamcast, nes, snes, sega, playstation, wii and gamegube. and it runs them beautiful.

worth every penny

got it, 24 hr shipping even thou im at pr, its just high quality , fast interface, great gaming, great visual and sound, fast downloads, installed spinz tv build every link runs smooth, git stalker client 0.8.4 running with 🚀 i just give it a 10

yes just downloaded kodi 15.2 then installed spinztv build and used stalker 0.8.4 with 🚀

Only thing cant do so far is load the STB Emualator on it - it doesnt show in the app store and i tried just installing from the apk and at the end of install says not insatlled. :(

just load the file you need from here and put on usb stick make sure you have es file explore installed first on your nvidia, then in es file explore look for usb ex click on it your file should be in there click on it and install
