Is there 2 models MAG250/254 and MAG254/255? I am trying to buy the most recent one and the seller saying it is a MAG254.

MAG 250: 450 MHz, 256 MB RAM, HDMI 1.3
MAG 254: 650 MHz, 512 MB RAM, HDMI 1.4, 3D

The newest one is MAG 257!


MAG 255 are special ones!
For example: My AuraHD International S.E. is a type 255

don't be misled by model #'s....what is your physical location, what do you want to use the box for?

KoolkatT, I have already place an order for the MAG 254 since the release date for 257 is unknown and I don't want to wait.

BTW, I am in Montreal Canada and I will use the box for IPTV (I have already paid donation), so I hope that I made the correct decision.
