Just installed on Kodi on my htpc. Wow! It works without a hitch!!!
Picture quality is much better than on the avov. Sound also.
A few things I've noticed.

No VOD
Channel numbering is not same as real stalker portal
Adult channel does not appear

Other than that, kudos to whoever created this addon. Dvbken I suspect that's you!

if you want the channel numbers to match, go into the settings of live tv and click the balloon to use back end channel numbers

Works great here...........thanks. Way better than bluestacks. Stream is much smoother with movement and rolling text on bottom of CNN is not choppy anymore. Audio is now sync'ed up.

To prevent the addon from disappearing after an update to 14.1, you can copy into the addons folder in the AppData folder for Kodi. If you don't know where that is, I suggest getting familiar with the Windows Kodi environment, rather than asking how.

Yes, you should be able to. If you go to system, settings and install from zip file to where you saved it on Linux or Windows. Once installed then go to system and enable live tv and then go to system disabled addons. Look down the list till you see the stalker client. Click on it to configure the mac address in last six digits with your wifi or hardwired adapter mac address. Then put in the 1.iptvprivateserver.tv in place of the 127.0.0.1 ip address. Once done then click ok and in the main screen of the client click enable to enable it. Then shutdown Kodi and restart and you should see it load the channels. If you don't see the TV icon on the main bar then go back and make sure the pvr client is enabled. Sometimes it doesn't on restart.

Update: Won't install in Linux..not proper structure, but the directions are good Windows version.

Yep, I took off the "http://" and it did work. The key thing is to just modify the last six hexidigits to something other than 00:00:00

What version of Kodi are you using? It doesn't work on 13.2 and below.

i have found that is easier just to change the last digit of the mac... friends who have changed the last 6 and had it working before have been getting authentication problems... changing the last digit has been working for me at least... 00:1A:79:00:00:09 has been working, or changing just the last digit to any number from 1-9

Thanks Dvbken, I put this on a fresh install of Kodi 14.1 and it works very well . I'm running Win7 with 64bit AMD processor. When I exit Kodi, it hangs "Kodi has stopped working" while this pvr client is enabled.

From Kodi, I installed it from a zip file, configured the MAC & IP, rebooted Kodi, and enabled the PVR Client when prompted, rebooted and 'TV' appeared on Kodi menu bar. I Selected Tv/Channels and 50 channels are listed. Most I've tried have worked a few didn't or I just didn't wait long enough.

Does anyone know how to get an epg? Besides going to my IKS box and bringing up a guide :-)

If you aren't seeing the actual names of the channels, you're probably not on Helix. On Gotham (13.x) the client will connect to the server, but doesn't serve channels or the correct channel names. Also try disabling all other PVR clients if you had something else already enabled.

In Kodi Settings for Live TV/General, look for "Use backend channels numbers...", fifth selection down from the top if your Settings Level is Expert or Advanced.

You'll just have to deal with not having VOD, but why would you care if you are on Kodi in the first place... there's tons of movies available already, as well as access to programming that you needed a password for 484.

That's it for now. There are 51 total live channels, but the addon doesn't work with the password protected Channel 484. No VOD, which you would know if you had actually read this thread.

Ok....

I tried simple client with a m3u list of 200 Spanish channels and that works.
As soon I enable stalker and disable simple client. The TV ICON Dissapears. And the Live TV is enable. When I get out of kodi, it tells me an error has been detected.

Is it because the DLL file that is with the plugin is not compatible with win7?

It's a very roughly implemented client for the stalker middleware api. Just enough effort was put into it to watch tv, so that I don't have to use the emulator or get a mag box prematurely.

Note-1: this is only available for windows at the moment.
Note-2: the current testing server is the only one I've tried with this. It should work with other stalker servers but it probably won't as I'm don't know of any others.
Note-3: the add-on may be unstable, so don't expect much of it.

1. Extract the archive to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi\addons\

2. Enable the "Stalker Client" pvr add-on and set the MAC and server address like you would with the emulator:

You don't input the same MAC from your MAG to this stalker pvr client. You will cause the server to reject your connection as a duplicate. To use this client, randomly change the last six digits. It's recommended to maybe just changing the last digit only to keep it simple.

Dara.....that wont work......i am trying to connect to a paid iptv service, one where i had to send them my MAC address of the MAG 250 so its authorised at the server end. I want to turn Mag off and connect via Koni as if i were the Mag box......but its not working.

The first post of this thread says this addon may or may not work with other servers. There is only one STB Emulator available for Android for this server, but you can emulate Android on a PC using BlueStacks or Andy, and you can install that emulator as well as an external player to see this preview. Search elsewhere in the forum for how to do this.

can someone make a video on youtube., with a step by step installation and see it working? I dont see alot of people got the windows.dll addon working. Never seen a windows addon on kodi before. Usually its run of python. With a .py extension. We could at least see the source code, and try to patch it. but hey, if its works in windows its great.

If you already have Kodi 14.0 or 14.1 installed just follow the directions in post #1 to install, then enable Live TV, configure and enable the client. I know there are lots of video tutorials for XBMC/Kodi on how to install a pvr client.

dvdken -=> Thanks for the effort for making this plugin. But I cannot get it to work. I putted the log file. So you can see where its bugs out. I've tried other pvr addons. Works perfectly. This one you see the channel loading for 1 sec. And then it dissapears. And you never see the tv option between the picture and video.

after playing for 10 minutes and reading all of everybodys help , i managed to get it up and running on win 8.1 64 bit laptop with kodi 14.1 installed , the only issue i get is when i power down Kodi , i get .....box popup telling me Kodi has stopped working , windows is checking for a solution to the problem ..

I had to upgrade my generic andriod box to 14.1 but it works great. Screw emulation if this works when the service goes live!

BTW, version number still shows as .1 on the updated .zip for Windows when installed.

The Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 is a Tegra 2 device, which won't run Kodi 14.x, so you won't be able to use this addon. For your Fire TV, try the ARM version for Android. You may want to test out a different PVR client (like "Simple") to see if there are any issues with a non NFPS playlist, which will tell you if its your Kodi, or device, vs. the addon.

Strange thing is happening. I don't know if anyone can help. I installed the stalker addon on my windows htpc at home and it works great. Im trying to do the same on my windows laptop at work and the live tv pvr loads fine, I see all the channels listed but when I click on one any channel, the "working" sign comes on and never stops. Never get to see a channel. Both installation are Kodi 14.1. I tried 14.2 and 14.0 and still no go on the laptop.
Anyone know how I can fix this?

No channels will work until I close Kodi down and reopen it. then it works fine for the one channel. So basically if I want to change channels I have to close kodi and reopen for each channel change.

You might try resetting the PVR database, or enable/disable the addon, or the Live TV enable/disable... basically "kick" the box. The PVR plugins are a little shaky at times and there isn't much you can do to fix it, unfortunately.

Works fine for trial server for me but not **A DIFFERENT** server. lists channels only but wont play.

Can you add the ability to have multiple servers configured so you can just switch between the two, or stack all the channels.'

Worked for me on my box on a freshly updated kodi 14.1. Nothing special, just make sure you are installing the right plugin.

im having the same issues, any iptv that requires authentication doesnt seem to work. Im sure they'll fix the authentication piece once nfps/rocket get out of iptv testing and start charging. Maybe then other iptv servers will also work.

I did read the first post, I have arm androids, I tried on a nexus 5 and nexus 7 both running lollipop and a android mini PC running kit Kat all have same DLL message.The message about the error suggests a problem with permissions and to try using an x86 with the add-on preconfigured which of course won't install on arm based devices. Thanks for welcoming me to the site and I appreciate any help you can give me on this.

I had a problem with the confluence skin. Try switching to Aeon Nox or another skin.

You have to disable live tv, reboot, then enable live tv and reboot again. It will work just have to get it enabled. Took me a couple cycles but I got it working on stock confluence skin 4.1

I've tried this stalker pvr (along with the mag250 for my mygica downloaded from google play store) on a windows 8.1 laptop and a windows 7 laptop (pvr works good but I had lots of freezing). I put it on my kodi 14.1 on mmy mygica 520e (with latest firmware) and its seriously the best. No freezing, works like a charm.. Just wanted to say thank you!



(also wondering if the freezing I experienced might have been because someone else was using the mac address I chose, just a thought)

Went home last night and no channels were showing up in the channel list at all. PVR scanned on startup but list was empty. I tried several things but ultimately I changed the last character in the mac address in the configuration from E to D. restarted and everything works great. No more channel switching failure at all. disable both exit kodi. start kodi reenable both it should ask you to restart. If it does not ask restart it yourself. You do not need to reboot windows.

After using this throughout the weekend, I thought I'd share it.

It's a very roughly implemented client for the stalker middleware api. Just enough effort was put into it to watch tv, so that I don't have to use the emulator or get a mag box prematurely.

Note-1: this is only available for windows and android at the moment.
Note-2: the current testing server is the only one I've tried with this. It should work with other stalker servers but it probably won't as I don't know of any others.
Note-3: the add-on may be unstable, so don't expect much of it.
Note-4: this is not an emulator. only the servers it's been tested with will work. pm me if you know of other stalker iptv services. I might look into them.
Note-5: tested on Kodi 14.1. should work on anything Kodi 14.x

Download the appropriate zip file:
win32 = windows
android-arm = phones and most boxes <- get this if you're not sure
android-x86 = intel based boxes

regular installation
1. You can use the usual method of "Install from zip file" to install the addon

2. Enable live tv/pvr under Settings -> Live TV -> General

3. Enable the "Stalker Client" pvr add-on and set the MAC and server address like you would with the emulator:

you can try the modified apk that includes the addon. you need to uninstall your current kodi install first (remember to backup your user data first so that you don't have to reconfigure from scratch)

Q: All I see is "Working...". What's wrong?
A: several things could be happening:
(1) the channel(s) is down
(2) the authentication expired or got invalidated. so, restart kodi
(3) someone else shares your creative mind and somehow uses the mac address as you. thus (2) happens, so change the mac address and restart kodi
(4) you are using more than one device configured with the same mac address. this won't work. you have to use a different mac address for each device. otherwise one device will invalidate the other. again like (2). (the portal may be tracking IPs as well but idk)
(5) check that the stb emulator or your mag box is working. if that doesn't work, this won't either
(6) still no go? close kodi and delete this file:

Do you have the tv tab under kodi on the main screen? if so its not skin related. If its black screen when you click on tv the server might not be entered right on the stalker settings.

I'm wondering if the Amazon Fire TV environment for Kodi is much different than the generic environment for most other Andriod boxes. I do see that there is a support topic just for the AFTV for this addon, and that you already asked the same question there. Maybe you can get help from those who have had success there. Confluence or it's direct variants, the default skin for Kodi, is easiest to support as that is common to those who have it, but AFTV could be customized, and that's why you may be having issues, along with the access to the dll.

it does work. its new, and has only had a couple revisions released, consider it alpha software, or an early beta at best. maybe you should wait until a more stable release is out if it is frustrating you

Are you on Kodi Helix 14.x or still back at XBMC Gotham 13.x? This addon won't work with 13.x.

Edit: sorry, just saw that you were on 14.1. Make sure you turn off any other PVR client before you test with the Stalker client.

Go to command prompt in windows type in ipconfig /all and you will see your mac address on line that says physical address.......use the last 6 digits to add to stalker.....keep stalker mac as is and just replace the last 6 digits

I am getting the dll error on my Galaxy Note 3 running 4.4.4. I cannot write to the Ext SD card, with certain apps, due to Samsung restrictions. I am guessing that this is why I am getting the dll error, although, I do not have Kodi configured to save to the SD card.

Good morning, i downloaded the zip file and i stalled it on kodi on my lg tablet but not working..i turned on live tv pvr enabled stalker client but when i restart kodi nothing happens like if i didnt download it. Do i need to co figure server address and mac address? Please help

A MAC Address is tied to a Network adapter. I watched the Youtube video regarding IPTV and copied the MAC Address and URL from there. Is that the MAC address from the IPTV server?

Previous posts suggest that under certain circumstances, the MAC address needs to be changed. How can you arbitrarily change the MAC address and what sections do you need to change?

You do not copy a mac from the internet to use, use your own. There's a thread here to tell you how to find it if needed, in the other android section.

That worked perfectly. I was able to change channels without issue. Why is the EPG empty? How do I get EPG to work?

EPG is not available yet, will probably be one of the last things added before it stops the free trial IMHO You can use one of many tv schedule sites online for the time being, some even let you pick only the channels you want guide for.

Yes i put the server number you gave me..so i will try the wifi server address again

The first 6 characters are 00:1A:79:

The last 6 characters are from your device's MAC Address.

Thank you..well now whats happening i am able to go to channels but not open them. My device freezes..gees..any suggestions on that. Im sure its probably my device or maybe settins dont know if anything might be interferring..i used to have iptv pvr client enabled but i disabled it to get stalker on here

What are you running Kodi on Ruben? Kodi version??

Check configuration settings for the stalker client, you need to enable the pvr function in the system settings....reboot everything....

Do you think any special events like on ch456 with DN will be tested??

I read on the first post that adult channel would be tested on the stalker client? I noticed currently it does not show up in the stalker client but does shopw up on a magxxx set top??

So we should change the rules for you? The decision was made because sites started getting posted for m3u files and some members ended up with bugs from those pages. Just because my pc protection stopped something doesn't mean someone else's will so for everyone's protection it is this way.

Files that are loaded to site are examined and scrutinized too. Safety for our members come before someone's first post directing to a link somewhere else online. Share all the knowledge you want, just keep the links to other sites to yourself. Thanks.
