You can get the "structure not supported" if you are using the incorrect platform version of the add-on. For a PC install, make sure you use the 'win-32' version. If you still get an install error, try unzipping, and moving the folder directly into the Kodi data folder.

Maybe you need to uninstall your kodi ans reinstall it again if the reset did not work for you. Here it works good on pc kodi 14.1,14.2

Most people should be using the Helix version, so don't take the one in the Isengard section.

Isengard (Kodi 15.0) is an alpha build, and really shouldn't be used unless you are willing to endure 'testing pain'. Anyway, if you are using Isengard, use the 'arm' version if you are using andriod in the first section, but uninstall the old version, and reset the PVR database before installing the new version. Configure using the "1.iptvprivateserver.tv' for the server, and the mac, keeping "00:1A:79" for the first 6 and match your device's last six for the rest of the mac.

That's nice, but not specific to the project here. His setup won't work with Stalker middleware.

Just tried it out and didnt like it at all. Tried quite a few channels and only a few worked. Not the greatest picture quality, and took quite a while to load. The EPG would be awesome, but the ones that worked didnt have the right show listed.

Other then no EPG and logos from the server suck, Salker with NFPS is great. Always fast to load channels and if one doesnt work usually all I have to do is restart kodi and have it load the pvr again.

Guys the one on this thread is a PVR stalker which you have to enable though the TV and the PVR section.
The second one from pocpoc thread is a video add-ons stalker and not a PVR that you need to enable as instructed in that thread and then you need to go to the video add-ons to access it like you do for the rest of the video add-one.

You can install both at the same time and both will work for you at the same time since each will work on a different section of kodi.

How about you install the latest version of the stalker on kodi 14.1 if you have an issue with the 14.2, really I found the 14.1 very stable.

Sometimes you can just "end task" kodi in task manager processes rather than shutting computer down

Restart the PC is the best way, even if you end it in the task manager will not revive it.

Keep getting "PVR Manager is starting up. Loading channels from clients" pop-up window, but no channels load. There's no script error or anything, just stalls loading channels?

havent seen that..

try removing and retyping your MAC (or change the last 3 pairs to something else)and server in and resetting the pvr database..
if that doesnt work then try a virgin install of kodi.

Also just a hint, you always can load your m3u list through the simple client PVR.

Note-4: this is not an emulator. only the servers it's been tested with will work. pm me if you know of other stalker iptv services. I might look into them.

The author is generically developing the pvr for all stalker clients, but hasn't yet implemented password entry. NFPS hasn't yet required entering your donation or password, so it remains to be tested. Forum rules don't allow discussion of other than Rocket or NFPS services and XBMC/Kodi.

The Stalker PVR client doesn't play well with other PVR clients, for many. Go into the Enabled Add-ons in your system settings, and disable all but the Stalker PVR if you want to use it. (I recommend you stick with the video plug in that is discussed in the other thread... it's easier.)

Been having the same problems since trying to update from version .05 on Windows Vista 32 bit. Shows loading channels at top but never goes any further also locking up Kodi if trying to disable PVR, reset database or even shutdown. Tried with both Kodi 14.1 & 14.2, no luck. Gone back to Kodi 14.2 with version .05 and working again after a fresh install (for about the sixth time, I guess this is why we call it testing).

I assume I can only use the PVR setup on a Win 32 bit?

Uninstall your kodi first then on your pc click start then search type in the search box kodi and delete the core file for kodi on your C drive, keep sticking to 14.1 install it go configure it and install either version 5 or the latest but this time keep changing the Mac numbers on your stalker until you get a good result, I had the same issue and by insisting on changing the last six numbers over and over my issue was solved.

I believe this plugin is now (eventually) going to be included with Kodi as it is in the main kodi-pvr git now. I also see that all precompiled prerelease versions have been removed from github as well.

Can totally see the plan coming along...put out a quality product, make it easy, get em hooked for free, then boom. Go paid.

They just put the mac that they provided their reseller in the the mac field, and it will work.. just like with STB emu..

It simply does not work on current versions though.


If this server uses login/password authentication, i don't see that as being an issue for long. many other Kodi plugins support user/pass authentication it would just have to be coded into the plugin.

I have the stalker Prv on my windows system but for my openelec & andriod G-box I decided to just install the stalker addon from the metalkettle repository. The live tv interface on windows is far superior though.

I'm a newbie to the site but I've been experimenting with Xbmc for a while. I too had an issue with stalker at first where it wouldn't load. What I did was installed the PVR IPTV simple cliente first and configures it to run. Then I got the last 3 sets of digits to my MAC address for my device. I then installed Stalker went into the menu by placing the pointer on the plugin and if on a computer hit the letter "C." A menu will pop up and I clicked on "Configure" on the Mac address line I replaced the last 3 sets of digits with mine from the mac address of my device. Clicked OK and restarted my kodi. It is working perfectly.

glad you got it working. but you do not need to do anything with iptv simple client to get pvr.stalker to work/ they are 2 completely different plugins that do not interact with eachother.. as you said you just need to set up the MAC correctly.

there is a tutorial by michael seo on adding the free streams addon to the ivue tv guide. it involues a downloading the FS ini file and setting it up in iVue TV guide so it is added as an add on stream. If we had a Stalker ini file that may work I dont know. Doubt it would be available.

That wouldn't be advisable at the moment as you know they are still in the process of adding and shifting around their channels.

You guys are off topic on the EPG for the PVR Client, as it is already built-in to it, just not implemented by NFPS. If you need the EPG with the NFPS service, use the IPTV Stalker video add-on and the i-vue guide plug-in. This post summarizes how to get the i-vue going with it, and the developer for i-vue has adjusted the ini to get the Stalker channels - NFPS only, no other pay service.

Same here. I am using Pi 2, win x64, Minix. Tried to install the Stalker CLIENT on all 3, but got the Stalker as the Video Add On instead. I used the Stalker Client file. Is there a reason for this? Same thing though?

If you see the add on in Videos, you installed plugin.video.stalker. If you have Live TV with stalker, you installed pvr.stalker. This thread supports pvr.stalker.

No longer available. It's too big to post on the site except by staff. Someone who has it out there will have to set up a remote site to allow others to download it.

If you can access the 'special' folder location where the addons and userdata folders exist, just unzip the file you get from github, and paste the folder into the addons folder. You may need 'root' access, which is beyond the scope of this forum, and if you can't, you may be out of luck.

I have installed the PVR client and I am using my MAC correctly. The server is also configured as recommended (without HTTP however I have tried both with and without HTTP). But I keep getting an error "unable to load channels".

I am using Kodi on Windows 8.1

As a heads up, the link in post #6 may go away soon, as the author is planning to delete the repository for the one he's using for the 'mainlining' to Kodi. He doesn't have releases in the mainline repository in github yet, hopefully soon.

I tried that on 3 different boxes (2 Windows and 1 Android) and it didnt work on either device.

I'm pretty sure you will only have linux not openelec if that's the case what version kodi could you upgrade to?

No. Dvbken is working on loading xmltv so you will be able to use my xmltv source though.

Try to uninstall it first then add metalkettle source then install the stalker from there and try again.

Definitely liking the EPG! One thing I have noticed though is that it seems to be an hour a head of the current time. I have all of my times and time zones set correctly although I haven't found any setting for Daylight Savings Time. Could that be why?

I think we are dependent on the NFPS server to correctly post the EPG data for the PVR.Stalker (and other methods). Since they are using the MAG254 as their testing target, that box may have time settings for DST, but it's not obvious in the STBEmu for me. Are all channels that you see with EPGs like that?

Try resetting the EPG from the LiveTV menu.

Im having the same issues as well!!! CNN International seems to be only channel that is working as of now..

Might as well update i updated on my android box and its way faster than 14.1 and with the stalker client .6b works great just backup your settings and addons then restore if you dont want to lose them

If you go to the downloads section of kodi.tv and scroll down, there is a section for older versions. Click on that and there are versions from 14.0 to 15.0 listed.

This thread is about pvr.stalker, not IPTV Stalker (the video add-on). Logos should appear for pvr.stalker In short, if you are using IPTV Stalker to serve the PVR Simple client, you need to add your own logos, as they aren't transferred by IPTV Stalker.

PVR.Stalker 0.6b is loading on my Kodi 14.2 on PC. The test is not over. (It's really not a trial, a trial implies that you are seeing something that is ready for prime time for free)

kodi 15 beta 1 has pvr.stalker included (except on linux/OSX). and it should work fine.. there are server issues at the moment so your likely going to have issues connecting anyways.
